I still don't like it, but at least I get it. They should have done something other than just chop the bottom one off. This could still be accomplished, even today.. Take the Carolina Panthers' jersey template for instance.. Shoulder TV numbers are present.. Carolina's shoulder loops are pushed a bit more down the sleeve than traditional shoulder loops (such as Indy's), do you could get the top set of tri-colored stripes in.. The location of the Panthers logo (mid sleeve) would be a prime location for the thick single-colored stripe, and a tri-colored sleeve cuff could be used to act as the bottom stripes that were eventually omitted in the original version of the jersey

We're talking about nine separate stripes in the space of a modern sleeve cap. Quote http://dstewartpaint.blogspot.com/

Also, the top set of stripes is partially in The shoulder area, so it wouldn't be entirely contained within the sleeve cap area.. The Panthers shoulder/sleeve area is already pretty crowded, but people don't generally complain about that.. If achieving the throwback design is desired, I think it would suffice
oldschoolvikings
Yeah, I was counting the spaces to get to nine... at that size the spaces would be basically indistinguishable from any other stripe. I don't think you can treat the top stripes as a traditional vertical stripe... you'd be using vertical and horizontal stripes together at such a close space (on the current tiny sleeve caps) that everything would butt together at strange angles. Some slight reductions in overall size would need to be made to maintain proportions, but I think that would actually help fitting it all in as well.. I'd definitely be interested in seeing it be attempted at this point though.. I'm intrigued
oldschoolvikings
Reworking a Bronco project I've posted before. This one is similar, but slightly different striping, plus a new color rush and new throwback; Thoughts appreciated... ~Bear
I'd make the navy a tad-bit lighter then. It looks too close to black. I actually thought it was a BFBS uniform at first.

ItDoesntMatter
I like the idea of throwing back to those uniforms, but (at least the way you've done it here) it reminds me way too much of the 49ers. I really like the rest of the set though. 1 Quote National Dashball League on AHSports || US Quidditch Redesign on CCSLC

oldschoolvikings
Another Buccaneers' concept. This one gives them the chance to use a throwback; 4 Quote http://dstewartpaint.blogspot.com/

ATolly66
On the Color Rush uniform, it looks like the numbers and uniforms are the same color. It's probably due to my color blindness, but try using a 2x double outline with white and orange.
