Comments made that he is a great coach & a defensive mastermind by Kobe Bryant, Phil Jackson, Mitch Kupchak, Gregg Popovich, Tim Duncan, Michael Jordan, Larry Bird, LeBron James, the entire Hornets roster....

Should I go on?

Come on, man. I'm trying to give you a chance here... But you're really making it hard.

That being said, Stephenson would be good, but Boozer is a stretch.

I'll dig it up tomorrow at work. Not doing it on my phone.

Charlotte still has $12.7mil in cap space. Sign Stephenson at $12mil per. Package Henderson & a 1st rd pick to dump his salary in a trade. That gives over $6mil for a bid on Boozer. Who has cap space & a need at PF to put in a bid that high? Atlanta? Nobody will pick him up as a trade asset, he only had one year left & can't be traded. Whoever grabs him, keeps him.

Stephenson alone will help Charlotte compete for a top 4 seed. They were only a game or two away from the 5 seed last year. Adding Boozer could make them a legit contender in the East.

Fun fact: Kemba Walker has won as many playoff games as Kyrie Irving.

If Stephenson is so good, why is he only making $9 million a year and signing a de facto 2 year deal?

In fairness, while Ateles is a homer, he has a point here. Clifford coached a mediocre team built around Al freaking Jefferson into one of the best defensive teams in the league last year.

You know, Charlotte has put up with so much crappy basketball over the last ten years, if someone wants to get overly excited about them finally turning the corner, hey, cool, great, I'm not going to follow you around and fight you about it.

♫ oh yeah, board goes on, long after the thrill of postin' is gone ♫
