  1. What would your comment on the main page accomplish?
  2. I highly doubt it, on a per capita basis. NBA games seem to have less fans wearing jerseys than NHL games.
  3. Tell us more about Nike’s contract with the WNBA. Nike will make money with the NHL. NHL fans probably buy more jerseys than any other sport outside football and maybe soccer.
  4. A change the Wild could benefit from would be to lose the Machine font numbers and go with the number font used for the WC jerseys (which seem a bit more old-school and fit better with the older look).
  5. The black helmets would probably look better with the blue jerseys, considering the decals on the helmet are solid blue. Will have to try it out in Madden.
  6. The Warriors have released many jerseys since Steph and Klay came on board, and this might be the worst of them. Is it a nod to Cal?
  7. "Panthers received an exception to the rule" Other teams to NFL: Why don't we get an exception??
  8. Yes they are known for palm trees. Image-searching for "Los Angeles" or "Los Angeles palm trees" would answer your question.
  9. Duke unveiled plain white helmets with white facemasks but with no stripes. Would have looked immensely better with one blue stripe or two blue stripes. Of course the Duke script is always classic, so hope they still have the white or blue helmet with that on it.
  10. On the sleeve, like above most of the sleeve numbers?
  11. Adidas makes more than jerseys and hats for the NHL (t-shirts, sweatshirts). Adidas agreed to Fanatics making most of the wearable merchandise. That was the original collaborative deal.
  12. Virginia really never needs to change helmets...these are great. I believe the fauxback Purdue Pete helmet has numbers on the left side, which is pretty dumb, and makes it another one of those "good but could be so much better"
  13. That whole series of hats features New Era-designed logos that aren't official. Search "New Era Fresh NBA" on Fanatics
  14. Fanatics will likely still make the replica jerseys no matter who gets the next contract. Even if it's Nike, replicas will still be made by Fanatics in all likelihood. (edit: Fanatics is in the middle of a 16-year deal to make replica jerseys) I own a few Fanatics hockey jerseys and material difference aside, they're just as accurate design-wise as the authentics (though I know of two jerseys - out of what, 80+ possible NHL jerseys - that have inaccurate details). Nike Swingman NBA jerseys are incredibly cheap (thinnest possible twill, not even sewn on).
  15. The only thing they needed to do to that uniform is take away the drop shadow and the navy accents. The logo is better than the current Sea Colony Resort logo.
  16. It looks better than the tapered stripes, but IMO, their best helmets (namely from the 90s) had a single gold stripe. Maybe with the yellow-gold stripes they didn't want more comparisons to Iowa.
  17. Blue Jackets was not only a play on Yellow Jackets, but also was based on the Augusta Green Jackets' popularity in MiLB, no? I enjoy seeing Stinger on goalie masks and other tertiary items even if neon green/volt no longer fits the identity.
  18. Dolphins. They dropped the navy blue and swapped out light orange for darker orange in 2018.
  19. 2022 is the fifth year of the regular set (last year of the requirement), so if the league doesn't approve this change this year, we'll likely see it next year.
  20. This reminds me of the first time Georgia wore black to look mean and tough against Alabama and the halftime score was 31-0 Tide.
  21. We might see mix-and-match with the logos, but in general, they've all been unveiled.
  22. Thatsthejoke.gif I have no idea if the hexagon for the VRBO Fiesta Bowl logo means anything at all...it just looked similar to the shape used in the Seattle All-Star game logo, which featured the lame explanation of the states.
  23. Well, apparently the Dolphins don't like to wear white against the Bengals. Last time the Bengals wore black against Miami looks to be 2012:
  24. Perhaps like the 2023 MLB All Star logo, I'm assuming the hexagon shape of the Fiesta Bowl logo represents the six states of the southwest: Arizona, Nevada, New Mexico, Utah, Colorado, plus Wyoming, Idaho, or Montana.
  25. I think that's one of the guidelines from the 2021 memo - all helmet models that are worn for the regular set must be available for the alternate (not sure why one helmet would be available but not the other), and they have to be fitted together at training camp.
