  1. There’s a small chance it could be a white helmet with a midnight green wing, perhaps as an homage to the late 60s/early 70s. But I think odds are good it will be black. Not sure what the helmet rules will be in terms of minimum seasons. Also, a Uniwatch article from December reported 15 teams will have alternate helmets, with the only assurance being the Raiders not having one. So if we have 9 and are trying to get to 15, seems like Bucs, Pats, Falcons, and Chargers would likely be added.
  2. Wonder if it’ll be mostly black with a little bit of orange and blue lol
  3. This is good info…the upcharges (for the Saints and Jets) are usually related to different paint jobs or chrome elements. Interested in that Eagles helmet if it’s not the throwback we expect in 2023.
  4. Boston/Fenway will get the 2023 Winter Classic so it'll be exciting to see the 19th 4th WC jersey for the Bruins.
  5. Also more good looks I think these would look pretty good, because they all have some historical context: Bills with blue facemasks Patriots with gray facemasks Jets with white facemasks Dolphins with aqua facemasks I'm sure I could do an alternate facemask for most teams and they'd look pretty good
  6. Maybe purple jersey with a jade wordmark would look cool. If they bring back that jersey and it's still just mostly purple and black it'll be a miss.
  7. I always liked the shield better than the forward-facing bird - the shield just uses the space better - but one slight change they could make that only a few people might notice would be to make the helmet stripes metallic chrome purple (not shiny chrome)...those kinds of decals kind of bend light differently than regular glossy decals. May give off a better raven-like effect.
  8. Take out the pedestal, and reduce the yoke to a stripe below the sleeve numbers (while moving the other stripes down the sleeve) and it's a pretty cool modern update of that set.
  9. I haven't seen anything in the first round of 2022 T-shirts with the gold on it either; seems like it might be gone, as was rumored.
  10. 1997 Jags wore the drop-shadowed numbers in pre-season then changed them for the regular season due to legibility. The 11 was probably the best-looking number, as all the other numbers were way too narrow. Some numbers were spaced out way too wide:
  11. I think it'd look pretty cool if the hem stripes are silver/burgandy/silver...but the crest will be awfully redundant to the current third.
  12. Riddell did this a couple years ago but it in some ways it looks better than the navy helmet. The navy's just so bland/ho-hum compared to all the other colors they have.
  13. Might want to think this through one more time (either way one sleeve is blank)
  14. Just a quick note on WFT as that thread is locked - some say they ripped off the Ravens with their quadrant-roundel - but I just noticed that the inspiration will probably be described as the NW/SW/NE/SE quadrants of the District...which makes it a bit better. Maybe someone else brought that up too, in which case I apologize for the redundancy. /endofmyonegoodkindasmartpostperday
  15. Those are Fanatics tags on that Sabres jersey though. And although Fanatics has bumped up its vintage line somewhat, the Sabres jersey is a modern template, unlike the others in the vintage line.
  16. I realize that's just a mockup...but it does look better without the white outline that was on the original version. Also, it looks like the mockup has the horn shading reversed.
  17. Perhaps...but the NHL is clearly aware that 80s/90s designs are in peak demand.
  18. Riddell released a line of full size authentic and replica throwback Speed helmets in October/November. Not saying the Cowboys white helmet won’t be worn, but this line of consumer throwbacks had been planned before the one helmet announcement.
  19. I really hope all the logos aren’t just filled in as the same color as the hats with an outline. That Nats hat would look better with a white capitol or a W. A couple people on here last year said the ‘22 ST hats would be mesh, and they were right.
  20. You could be right...but I have a feeling 2023 will be the year the Dolphins make a change. I think the 2018 changes reset the clock.
  21. 2022 is season #5 of the current design (designed, IIRC by a guy that used to be on here a bit and did graphic design work for the team)
  22. New alternate hat for the Diamondbacks: https://www.mlbshop.com/arizona-diamondbacks/mens-arizona-diamondbacks-new-era-red-on-field-alternate-authentic-collection-59fifty-fitted-hat/t-36881815+p-2651145275085+z-9-43109437?_ref=p-SRP:m-GRID:i-r0c1:po-1
  23. The players’ union agreed (or better said, didn’t fight back against) a proposal to allow ad patches on uniforms today. https://www.espn.com/mlb/story/_/id/33059512/sources-mlb-makes-first-labor-proposal-lockout-awaits-union-counter
  24. The Steelers' yellow jerseys always looked cool in training camp, but maybe it's just an alternate/clash effect.
