Players in the "wrong" uniforms

Isn't this more of a "right team, wrong uniform" sort of thing? -
Vegas would've been a top-tier NFL look. Birmingham, Chicago, LA, NY, and SF looked good too. Memphis and Orlando needed work. (Unrelated, the Hitmen H has become a very popular logo for high schools. I covered one in Texas.)

Oldschoolvikings' NFL concepts - Commanders concept added
BJ Sands replied to oldschoolvikings's topic in Concepts
I hate and resent this concept because it’s so much better than the Browns’ real uniform. It’s an excellent combination of old and new, and gives them the chance to mix and match, which is one of the few attractive things about their current look. -

I hate how Nike does the Jets shoulder stripe. After the shoulder cap, it shouldn’t be the same color for the next stripe. Always bugs me.

That’s what would happen if the Blackhawks and Packers mated and the offspring somehow was a baseball jersey. -

This is "Players in the Wrong Uniforms," not "Players in the Right City." -
The Cavs’ current black uniforms are outstanding.

The template for the Buffaslug jerseys was serviceable. The slug itself was a pox on humanity.

The Mets' standard home (and road) uniforms are gorgeous. Best in baseball, and I don't think it's particularly close. -

Frank (left) and Brooks Robinson in the early-mid 60s Orioles uniform. Brooks wore it during the regular season for a couple years but Frank never did. https://twitter.com/EbbetsVintage/status/969651615815864321 -
Here's another unpopular Patriots opinion: It was stupid for them to ever wear red and it would be just as stupid for them to bring back red for anything other than a rare throwback. Anybody with a grasp of history knows the patriots were fighting the redcoats, and the Patriots wearing red went completely against that.

Better yet, the Yankees traded Jose Contreras to get him. Contreras wasn't great in New York but helped lead the 2005 White Sox to the WS title. -
This thread is “Unpopular Opinions” not “Wrong And Absurd Opinions.”

(I'm a Spurs supporter. This doesn't bug me. When he wears a Real Madrid shirt, that will bug me.) -

If it's too good to be true, it probably is. -
They’re retiring numbers to honor the player. Kobe wasn’t two players. He was one, and yet he gets two banners. It looks even worse considering the team. This is the Lakers, with some of the game’s most significant players. Magic, Kareem, Wilt, Shaq all have one banner.
-
He is one player.
-
Why give him two banners? Ridiculous.
