Players in the "wrong" uniforms

To continue the theme... (ALL THEY NEEDED TO DO WAS MAKE THE HOME STRIPE GREEN-WHITE-GREEN AND REVERSE IT ON THE ROAD. THAT WAS IT!!!!!) -

I think Heat because they wore one set of uniforms during his time there. The three uniforms of the two Cavs eras kind of split the vote, so to speak. -
Players on the "RIGHT" Team, but "WRONG" Uniform
BJ Sands replied to kimball's topic in Sports Logo General Discussion
https://twitter.com/dtamberelli/status/1093582642048651264?s=20 As we all know, Russ Tyler never wore the original Ducks uniform in a game. -
Is it ok to say the old Titans set was trash? The helmet stripe, shoulder yoke and pants stripe didn’t match, and the font got dated pretty quickly. That doesn’t mean the Titans’ new set is a masterpiece. Just a slight upgrade over its predecessor.

Yes. Thank you. Stirrups are dumb.

Players on the "RIGHT" Team, but "WRONG" Uniform

Ernie Banks only wore this road uniform for a little more than two seasons. That style is associated more with the 1945 team than Ernie’s era. -

Too soon? -
The Bears and their uniforms arent just about one Super Bowl. But it’s late and I don’t feel like fighting this fight.

On this set and when they were first created, the Lakers’ best uniform is the white one.

Not bad. Not bad at all.

I just don't understand why they went to this: Instead of this: There's no reason for the stripes to not match on the current roads, and the SOX logo doesn't work on the sleeve. The diamond sock is perfectly shaped for the sleeve, but is only seen on the black alts. I wish it was also on the left sleeve of the road and home, but that's a fight I won't win. It's never been on the home set, and I don't know why.

And the White Sox on the road... which have aged well despite a couple poor changes in the last few years (SOX logo instead of the diamond sock, single black pants stripe instead of stripes that match the jersey).
-
I thought the same thing. But the pinstripe set has aged very well. Not sure these would have.

Major League Football is back and better than ever
BJ Sands replied to hugevolsfan's topic in Concepts
This is a really creative thread with excellent concepts. However, you should reconsider the MLF name and shield. Because when I see the letters MLF, I don't think about football. -

Players in the "wrong" uniforms

Apparently this is a thing. Supposedly there are Rodgers-Brewers and Jimmy G-Giants jerseys floating around too. -
My apologies for responding to an older post, but it bothers me that the Rams' last game in St. Louis was the undignified Color Rush. The St. Louis fans deserved better. This thread is so gorgeous. The fine execution and attention to detail is incredibly impressive.

DeMar is going to be in that jersey for three years, Kawhi just one before he likely bolts to the Lakers. And Kawhi is one of the biggest names in basketball and won a Finals MVP with the Spurs. DeMar is pretty good, but his biggest playoff moments are laying bricks for a team that's never been to a Finals. -

Was DeMar ever a Finals MVP with Toronto? No. This is much more wrong for Leonard, who will likely wear this for one season at most.
