  1. I’ll miss the green guy. He’s been around for a long time, since I was a kid and, til now, for my daughters as well. That’s not to say the new branding isn’t better, but the green guy and friends are so familiar to me.
  2. I kinda like the tonal trim on the jersey and shorts. The C logo isn’t bad either. The rest of it, not so much. The logo and wordmarks don’t do anything for me and the shield is just way too slapdash and plain. The number font has waaay too many angles going on and the inclusion of black is offensive to me. If they insist on a third color it should have been navy blue.
  3. I still don’t love the Pats white jerseys. Something is just off about the shoulder stripes. I wish they would have gone red/white/red like the blue jersey? Same goes for the new gray pants.
  4. Hope the alternate never sees the light of day, but it’s a fun concept anyway. If anyone can pull off all black, it’s the Raiders. Going back to the Colts, I don’t think they need blue pants at all. It’s never looked right to me as a road combo, too bottom-heavy or something, plus the whiter jersey/pants is just classic. I do appreciate the stripes socks, though.
  5. It’s there but I actually got in a hurry and didn’t finish the back collar. Thanks for pointing that out
  6. This is essentially my ideal look for the Eagles. I wouldn’t really change a thing. I love midnight green and silver so long as it’s actually the correct green, not teal like it’s become with the Nike materials.
  7. The Eagles new wordmark is definitely inline with the current trend of simple 1 color wordmarks and on its own, it looks fine. When it’s paired up with the logo, it looks a bit plain, like it needs an outline or a drop shadow or something. It’s definitely out of place in their branding, where the previous one fit right in with the logo and uniform number styling. Since they did insist on updating, I think the new one just needs a bit more, like a drop shadow and/or an arc on the bottom. Something to tie it to the rest of the brand a little bit better. If it is some foreshadowing of simplified/updated uniforms/branding, I’ll volunteer to lead the Midnight Green/Silver/White train.
  8. What happened to the “ice blue color”?Didn’t the AllStar logo for Utah use a very dark green that was almost black, kinda like Oregon’s nightmare green? I think pairing that with the purple gradient/yellow and/or the ice blue could be a very Utah Jazzy color scheme that kinda ties all their eras/color schemes together. I think it works in my head anyway.
  9. The Steelers don’t really need a ton of work, so this is really more of a tweak than anything. The biggest changes are the alternate uniform and the new logo. As always, let me know what you think and thanks for having a look.
  10. I’m aware of both of those flags and the historical precedent for the Brewers to use light blue but the shade of blue on the people’s flag is what I thought we were getting after the initial leak of the cap a few weeks ago. It’s different than the apparently very light blue of the actual uniforms. The color combo with the darker blue is unique and more appealing for the idea of a “City” uniform IMO.
  11. I like the jersey script but I think I like the darker blue the jersey appeared to be in a pic that leaked a few weeks ago, I’d prefer navy trim to white too. The powder blue is wearing out its welcome with the CC uniforms for me, plus I don’t really like it with white pants. Go all in and rock the blue pants if you’re gonna hop on the powder train, same goes for KC too. I’m not crazy about the cap logo but I imagine it will be popular with the denizens of Milwaukee.
  12. Yikes…Is it safe to say the dam has officially been broken? That Saints helmet is offensive. I shudder to imagine the absolute garbage we are going to see as these teams are not protected from themselves anymore.
  13. Got three new ones here for your viewing pleasure: As always, I’d love to get everyone’s thoughts. Thanks for having a look.
  14. As an Illinois fan and state resident, I think their “FAMILLY” slogan is incredibly stupid. Why not spell the word correctly and just highlight the IL, you know like the state abbreviation?
  15. Yeah you’d think a kid his age would associate Kobe with #24 more so than 8 anyway
  16. To be honest, I’ve never loved the red helmet over the black jersey for the falcons. It’s an acceptable throwback, a classic football uniform but it’s nothing to drool over. I’d like to see them do one of the red jersey/helmet throwbacks.
  17. Two things: 1. The quality of the Hawkins basketball uniforms and warmups in stranger things season 4 is surprisingly good both in terms of the uniform design and construction (tackle twill numbers/logos). They also appear to be era-appropriate material as well. Not a great picture but it was the best I could find. 2. Lucas wears #8, which I found distracting and super annoying because that number would not be available to a high school basketball player. I told my wife and she shrugged and rolled her eyes. I guess it’s a Kobe tribute thing, but still, it made my uni-geek rash itch.
  18. The Angels jersey is really sharp. The cream and red color scheme looks great. I love the single sleeve stripe too, reminiscent of board shorts? I don’t love the hat, but I generally don’t like white panel hats anyway. I think making the entire crown cream would be a better look.
  19. My high school’s colors were purple and green. We wore Kelly green with purple 99.9% of the time and I tended to like it because it was unique. I have a big soft spot for purple/green color schemes.
  20. I’m just guessing here but I’m thinkingmaybe we’ll see a green uniform with tonal topo lines for the Rockies with some purple and white trim? Purple and green is a tricky color scheme to pull off but I’m optimistic we’ll see something good from the Rockies. They really have so much inspiration to pull from with the name/locale/landscape/stadium.
  21. I’d swap the black trim for metallic blue. That goes for the white jersey too, but yeah, that’s should be the Cowboys’ blue jersey
  22. When we first heard of the Jazz going to black and yellow, I was intrigued, because the NBA is missing a black/yellow team. I thought there was a lot of promise with that scheme, especially if it included that “ice blue” we saw from the All-Star logo…The leaks were disappointing to say the least. There’s a fine line between minimalist design and no design and the Jazz jersey leaks had no design. I’d be surprised if the whole thing has been entirely scrapped at this point, they’ve gotta have too much money in merchandise/advertising/etc., but who knows. If Utah does end up rolling with this rebrand, hopefully the shorts and the rest of the branding have something interesting going on.
  23. Love the return to the three stripes but I’ve never really like the “saloon” wordmark. I’ve always preferred the outgoing one that came around in the 90’s. Not gonna complain too much though because they stripes are correct again.
  24. Damnit!!! Beating a dead horse here, but I makes me flat-out sad and angry to see ads coming to the highest level of American sports. I honestly thought baseball might be the last, lone holdout in the name of tradition/sanctity of the game, blah blah blah… guess not. I’d like to think that if I was an MLB owner I would be above putting an ad for a crypto company on the sleeve of my team’s jersey, but I’m sure a big old check is hard to turn down.
  25. I’d even toss in a little splash of yellow like Tulane uses for the bat.
