  2. personally I think the significantly larger issue is the fact that they willingly hired something called a Nathaniel Hackett as their offensive coordinator but that might just be me. but who cares? 8-2 Lions, 7-3 Jags, 7-3 and Watson-less Browns. if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go down as many of the glass bottles of hopium I have stashed in my fridge as I can before the Chiefs roll up with a baseball bat.

  5. I am going to laugh directly in your face when Rodgers miraculously recovers and the Jets win the Super Bowl by sheer goddamn accident. but then you'd probably complain about that, too.
  6. you ever notice how the only teams that ever get upset anymore are the ones nobody wants to see get upset
  7. all four, actually, if you consider the Chiefs being champions of the 2019 season!
  8. yes, they deserved to win it because of how they earned it. good analysis.
  9. winning 11 of 11 road games is completely insane. Texas absolutely deserves this title. just too bad deGrom couldn't have been part of it.
  10. god, these are really cool. I have a ton of suggestions I'd love to give, but just to name three, it'd be sweet to see Del the Funky Homosapien (or Hieroglyphics in general) for Oakland, Morbid Angel for Tampa Bay to represent the massive role Tampa has played in American extreme metal, and Fugazi for Washington to represent DC's importance to the development of post-hardcore.

  12. personally I think people who design """"""logos"""""" like this and receive gorillions of dollars to do so should be jailed.
  13. you know, my birthday just so happens to fall on the same day as Texas Independence Day. in that case, yeehaw.
  14. to my knowledge, the 2022 Rams and 2023 Jets are the first and second NFL teams respectively to have 10 regular-season games at their home stadium (nine home games + "away" games against the Chargers and Giants respectively)
  15. Tampa Bay vs. Buffalo NY Jets vs. NY Giants Jacksonville vs. Pittsburgh Philadelphia vs. Washington LA Rams vs. Dallas Minnesota vs. Green Bay Atlanta vs. Tennessee New England vs. Miami New Orleans vs. Indianapolis Houston vs. Carolina Cleveland vs. Seattle Cincinnati vs. San Francisco Kansas City vs. Denver Baltimore vs. Arizona Chicago vs. LA Chargers Las Vegas vs. Detroit
  16. so assuming the current score holds, which it probably will, this means that the Astros have been involved in the only two 7-game series to have the road team win every game, and that they've also lost both. god, that's weird.
  17. I think you're taking this too seriously.
  18. ...no? where the hell did you get that idea? I was born on Long Island and my family moved to South Carolina when I was thirteen. anyway, Phillies won.
  19. can't help but imagine you're a big 1975 New York Giants Proponent based on this take
  20. where did I say I had any desire to leave?
  21. yeah, if the same UNC team that boatraced us are gonna go ahead and lose at home to the Virginia by-god Cavaliers, Syracuse are going 4-8. but, hey, bowl-eligible Rutgers! silver linings! UPDATE: I am also now proud to report that 6-1 UNLV is real
  22. point number one: I like Philadelphia and I always have. it's one of my favorite cities in this godforsaken country. plus, these Phillies are one of the most objectionably likable teams in baseball, and out of the Mets' division rivals, I have the least issues with them aside from maybe Washington. point number two: the weather isn't the problem and it never has been. I like the Padres. I like most LA teams. I like pretty much every other Atlanta team aside from the Braves. I think it's physically impossible for anyone who isn't a fan of a division rival to dislike the Jaguars. I could elaborate on what the problem is, but I personally enjoy posting here, so I won't. point number three: honestly, at this point it's kind of just turning into a bit.
  23. I'm rooting for the Phillies because I hate the sun belt with the undying fury of a thousand suns. simple as.
  24. as a Mets fan, Zack Wheeler for sure. really sucked that he couldn't be part of the 2015 run, so I'd love to see him avenge it now.
