    making the playoffs was frankly more than I expected, so on one hand, I'm content. on the other, I still cannot fathom why sunbelt fans are such spoiled, sore-winner frontrunner brats. frankly, I wish we played Boston. as a SC citizen of ten years, the Carolinas are a cultural shlthole. go to hell. EDIT: upon further research, Carolina are, quite literally, the most reddit team in all of sports.

    just about any of the other options would've been better than Vegas. it's really amazing how hard I've soured on that city over the past five or six years between the standard Sunbelt "People" populace, horrific urban planning, realization that sports betting is genuine pure evil, what the Knights' fanbase has become, and the fact that Fallout: New Vegas was a more accurate prediction of what it'd be like in 50 years than 250. honestly? if I could've picked anywhere for them to move? it'd be Sacramento. hell, you move there and you can basically keep the same fanbase you've already built up.

    genuinely, have the Cardinals ever had a great uniform? I don't think they have. putting ARIZONA on the front like that certainly isn't great.

    The Durham Bulls, Bowling Green Hot Rods, and Charleston RiverDogs - the triple-A, high-A, and single-A affiliates of the Rays respectively - all won back-to-back championships in their respective leagues in 2021 and 2022.

    cool I love having no expectations at first only to realize the islanders 100% would've won against a sunbelt team if not for donaghy-tier reffing. nah man that's not a high stick directly in front of your face at all. bang-up job.

    as proven in the past, Playoff Islanders might as well be a completely different team. plus, Barzal's back, so we'll see how much of a difference that makes. definitely think they can give Carolina a run for their money.

    worth noting, the ECHL does allow unaffiliated teams - Norfolk didn't have an affiliate in 2019-20. predictably, they were awful that year. then again, come to think of it, they've been awful every year since they dropped down.
