As a non NHL fan, I disagree, on paper it all sounds like it would be a nightmare, but I surprisingly like it. Love the colors

I’m pretty sure I’ve made the argument here somewhere that UK should drop the checkers from their identity because it’s always felt more Tennessee than UK. I still stand by that, but for right now, UK has completely transformed their identity around checkers and Tennessee has dropped them. It should stay that way.

I'd flip the colors between the crescent and roundel. You can keep all the text purple and the crescent should still stand out like intended. Otherwise I really like it and I think it's on the way to making a much better brand out of the Crescents

I think that original rebrand in 2016 was fantastic. I'm not a huge fan of the orange jersey, in fact I'm not huge on any of the alternates used since that rebrand but at least they stay within the color scheme unlike a lot of other teams

The logo package seems a bit weak in comparison to your other teams. Maybe a roundel would help? Or a crescent logo like @rjrrzube said. Also what are the founding dates for all the teams?

That's too many outlines, I agree with Punchy, purple and old gold is enough.

I think you really knocked it out of the park on all of these. Nashville is stunning and the updates to SD and London are fantastic. Cincinnati and New Orleans look great to. I do have one idea with the Shamrocks though, I think the C-Clover logo can break out of that roundel to become the helmet logo by itself. Similar to Chicago having just the C on their helmet.

I personally think A3 is the best option.

Ugh, why does it all bend. The CLT mark is pretty underwhelming too, the only cities who can abbreviate their names are cities with 2 or more words. NYC, LA, STL for example. ATL, CLT, neither of those work. The C logo, in theory is alright, albeit boring and lifeless. The 49ers logo, or just the 9ers logo, both look awful, the pickaxe in the 9 looks awkward as can be. I think as bad as the original was, this really isn't all that much better.

I've said y'alls when referring to a group of people. Don't know what that says about me, but I know I'm not the only one of my friends or family who have.

Saw this thread pop up and knew it was a matter of time before someone had to explain the backstory, way to beat me to it. On to the actual uniforms. I usually wouldn't like a powder blue pullover for a team, in fact I don't know a single instance in which I have off the top of my head. But man I can't say no to this set, the whole brand is one of the best in the minors. All the KY minor league teams all have great brands and I really couldn't ask for less.

Every team that aren't named the Los Angeles Lakers should wear white at home. The Lakers should wear yellow. The occasional throwback or alternate is okay, but 95% of a teams home games should be played in their white uniform

I think the silver shoulders is unnecessary. Upgrade the logo to their current one re colored and I like it!

Unless 2&4 are throwbacks, I wouldn't know, 5 is the only acceptable one imo.

Big fan of this update! I surprisingly like the chest stripes and modern number font. However, I'd fix the offset on the number because that's not going to look good on linemen and bigger guys. I'd also change the sleeve cuff on the home to orange, similar to the away having a white one.

I like some of those better than the one we got in the 90s, center and far bottom left aren't bad.

The Jags font doesn't work, neither does the snakeskin pattern. I'd carry over the pant stripe to the sleeves, no more contrasting sleeve colors either

It should be Carolina Bulls but I agree, any city that gets an MLB team with minor league history should name their team after the minor league team. Like the Portland Beavers, and Charlotte Knights if they were to choose Charlotte over Raleigh.

The fonts in the mockup and the on field version don't quite match. I still like it though

I know this is kind of against the point of what your trying to do but imo, put the logo on a flag and replace orange with red and this is a pretty nice look
