A-Rod and Jeter will be teammates again:

the main issue with the Maulers is venue. Do they want to go to Acrisure? Or do they want to go the smaller soccer stadium that seats 5,000? Those are the only two options in Pittsburgh when they do move.

All the USFL did was modernize the old uniforms of the 80's, although they changed the Maulers to black and yellow this year (they need to make those jerseys though slightly different than the Steelers) and made the Showboats blue, yellow and white due to the fact that there was already too much red in the league, even though they were replacing the Tampa Bay Bandits, who had red. All the XFL had to do was to keep the logos and colors of the Renegades, Dragons, Battlehawks, Defenders and Roughnecks (with minor tweaks to the Roughnecks), but they didn't do that. They went too grandiose with it.

Speaking of the Bucks:

If he buys the Commanders, he's 3/4ths of the way of completing his collection of buying pro sports teams in the NFC East as well as Big 4 Major leagues. All he would need would be for the Texas Rangers to be for sale and he completes his collection.

I am of the same boat because we went through his fake retirement last year. Him delaying his debut on Fox only enhances the speculation and I had thought that had he said he was going to work for Fox in 2023 that I would have been like "yes, he is done playing" but now I am not going to believe he's stopped until Week 18 of the 2023 season comes and goes and he's nowhere to be found on an NFL roster.....or he signs a one day contract to retire with the Patriots and they announce his jersey retirement and/or induction into the Patriots Hall of Fame during a home game for the 2023 season.....or he gets inducted into the Bucs Ring of Honor sometime during the 2023 season.

Some will only accept that he's truly retired when he's not on an NFL roster during week 18 of the NFL season.

It's not going to stop Pro Football Talk's Mike Florio and others to say that he's coming back in 2023.

The answer is probably no and Dany Garcia, Dwayne Johnson and Redbird Capital think it's a good idea.

If someone had shown me the primary Renegades logo without any context, asking me what I think this logo meant, I would have said "that's a really cool looking Esports Team logo."

Isn't Milwaukee devoid of football venues? That might be the reason why no alternative football leagues have gone there. Now I don't know if the upcoming soccer stadium for the Milwaukee USL Championship team (that will seat 8,000) can be used for football, as Marquette plans to use it a lot for it's Men's and Women's soccer teams and Men's and Women's Lacrosse. Maybe they can use a high school stadium? I don't know the area to know if any of the high school stadiums in Milwaukee are suitable for alternative football.

Robert Sarver is officially gone:

the Sabercats are one of the legacy brands that are inactive, so it's quite doable. It's going to be quite difficult for the AFL to convince the Iowa Barnstormers and Arizona Rattlers of the IFL and Albany Empire, Carolina Cobras, Jacksonville Sharks and Orlando Predators to leave the NAL.
