The original Blue Giants uniform looks like the older Cardinals with the red and light blue.

I can see them sticking with that uniform for a single-digit number of seasons, and it would be remembered for making the 1962 Mets even more of a laughingstock. (Ironically, you could use that as a hypothetical to "blandify" the Mets. They stick with the embarassing Payson pink-black for a few years and, instead of their real somewhat distinct and well-thought-out orange/blue NYC colors/homage to the two past NL teams they just clunk into some hurriedly boring color scheme).

I'm wondering what existing teams would work well with a "cotton candy" color scheme (pink and light blue) besides the already done (and well-done) Marlins going vaporwave/vice neon.

Like the stencil font, even if the Fenway green is a little too close to teal for my tastes.

This fits with the theme of the Diamondbacks having weird uniform colors (as do all the subsesquent ones). Nice work with them.

Nice! It's a weird color scheme, but I knew that already. And red trim works well because female cardinals still have some red on them.

Love the Tan Braves and the touch of green on the Red Sox. Adds obvious flavor without making it too blatant.

A weird concept would involve making the Cardinals in the duller colors of the female bird instead of the existing bright red.

Just returning to the classic Braves uniforms already makes them look more distinct than the more generic-seeming modern ones.

The red and yellow I'm not that impressed by. It looks kind of like a hot dog, to be frank.

Gold on the Nationals gives them a bit of "turn-of-the-millenium Wizards" style to them. Don't know how intentional that was, but it was what I saw.

This is sadly another "no fault of the artist, but the design isn't as impressive as some of the others" uniform. Compared to the novel purple on the Bucks-Brewers, the green and yellow on the Packers-Brewers makes them look too much like a somewhat different version of the A's.

I think my favorite uniforms in the set are the Nuggets/Rockies and Ducks/Angels, because of the slightly unconventional for baseball colors.

It's through no fault of your own, but the Cardinals x2 (unsurprisingly) isn't as inherently distinct as some of the other concepts. I will say the darker shade of red reminds me of the Phillies. For a more out-there St. Louis color swap, you could do the Cardinals in the burnt-orange style of the short-lived ABA Spirits of St. Louis.

I love alternate Yankees uniforms, and the Giants scheme looks better on them than the Jets would. (And I'll admit to a bit of trepidation about the Pirates/Penguins because all the Pittsburgh teams have a similar yellow-and-black color scheme).

Can't wait to see it! For another red-black uniform, I'd be interested in seeing what the Phillies would look like in turn-of-the-millennium Sixers colors.
