    So where those things don't already exist, who pays for them? And why? Four stadia in Wisconsin come to mind for this discussion. Lambeau Field, Camp Randall, American Family Filed, and Fiserv Forum. I *guess* I could drive to a park and ride a half mile from AmFam to catch a bus. But if I've driven that far, why not go the next half mile? I don't believe there's anything for Lambeau. If there is, how am I going to bring my grill and cooler to tailgate?

    The forum header for the General category of the boards reads 'forums_forum_68_desc'. I am pretty sure it used to read something like 'the official forum of the sports ecyclopedia'. Since it no longer is - why not give it a name or get rid of the description?

    I would bet that isn't out of the ordinary to even below average. Part of the appeal of Miller Park to Wisconsin residents was knowing the game would be played due to the roof. The five counties of Ozaukee, Waukesha, Milwaukee, Washington and Racine all paid the stadium tax, and all get ticket deals during a particular weekend. I can'find an exact answer to travel time. But I did find a quote from Rick Schlesinger of the Brewers who said the roof made the team a regional draw. I'll keep looking for that answer. Regardless it all affects us the way we choose to be affected. What's normal for one location isn't normal for others. If 40 minute travel time isn't acceptable in a location, then management screwed up with stadium location.

    But not everyone shares this feeling. I went to the Trop because I was in Clearwater for a conference in May 2018. I guess it was like a 45 minute drive. No big deal - I have a 35 minute drive to get to Miller Park. Again - that's just me. But also, the dominant highway culture doesn't bother everyone in the same way it seems to bother you. Is the Trop more like an arena than a baseball park? Heck yeah.

    Am I the only one who tunes into ESPN to watch live sports, and never any other time? I think since Sunday Night Countdown jumped the shark back when it was acceptable to use the phrase 'jump the shark', that's my only use for ESPN.

    I'm not actually sure that I would expect this to be on their website. Lower tier sports don't want to publicize their failings. The website is what is accessed by the masses, but the Twitter feed is accessed by those looking for more detail (IMO). Thus, let those who are diging deeper find it, and the casual fan won't know.

    Are you sure? What you are describing is how I thought it worked. For example, if I haven't read 5 pages in the latest NHL updates thread, clicking the last page should take me to the last page, not the last post that I read.

    Anyone hear anything about American Arena League today? I saw a post about their season maybe being cancelled? A little Googling shows me that they aren't doing a post season, but declaring division champs only.

    In 1976, the Packers had Mike C McCoy (DB) and Mike P McCoy (DL) Fun fact - I saw Mike P McCoy at the Georgia Dome in 2010 when I was there watching the Packers play the Falcons. I see the back of a guy wearing a 70s era packer jersey with 76 McCoy on the back. I told my brother it had to be Mike McCoy, since who the heck ELSE would have a jersey like that? Sure enough we see him a little later and instantly know by his face that it's him. I got him to sign my ticket stub from the game.

    Not to nitpick, but they aren't professional -- they're a collegiate wood bat league. Decidedly NOT professional. Where I agree with you is that, like the team, the logo isn't professional either

    What browser are you using (mobile)? Samsung's browser MIGHT have been the issue for me.
