  1. Fox and NBC avoided doing that, but ESPN will probably have it all over there stuff, especially since they have their own sports book now.
  2. That's pretty much my thinking as well. Unless they came up with a league wide broadcast setup, I'd expect the same graphics as last year, with ESPN Bet added.
  3. PRO refs are back and so are the Capelli uniforms. Not sure why they weren't letting the replacement refs wear them.
  4. 64 yard FG for the win! Late sales of single game tickets, and everyone expecting them to be at the bottom of the league didn't help here. Not surprised to see Birmingham win, but I expected more from St. Louis. Michigan's defense was quicker than I thought they'd be and that helped them get the win.
  5. I'm guessing they're more likely trying to match last year's colors instead of the original color sets.
  6. I think it looks like that because they enlarged the logo on the helmet. They also cut off the bottom half of the orginal stallion's neck. That's making the mane look longer. Also, all teams will wear a memorial patch for Buddy Teevans for the season. Buddy Teevans was not directly involved with the league. The UFL | United Football League Pays Tribute to Legendary NCAA Coach Buddy Teevens "Teevens, who passed away in September, is widely renowned and respected for his innovative coaching style and focus on player safety and well-being. "Buddy’s dedication to mentorship and guidance not only shaped the athletes that were fortunate enough to play for him but instilled in them invaluable qualities that extend far beyond the field,” said Russ Brandon, President and CEO of the UFL. “He was not just a coach; he was a true architect of character, molding individuals of integrity, resilience, and excellence." In recognition of Coach Teevens’ exceptional contributions to the game of football, the UFL will name its Coach of the Year award in his honor. This gesture serves to celebrate and honor his remarkable coaching career and enduring influence on the football community".
  7. The Stallions have gold and white pants. They only need the gold pants.
  8. I don't know why they even have white pants. Noticed that the skill players on offense all have the green comms dot on their helmets. Did USFL do that last year?
  9. So the field design matches last year's XFL, with U.S. Army placed at the 50 yard line below the UFL logo. Renegades would look better with the Renegade logo on the helmet. The DR logo is the only bit of white in the entire uniform.
  10. Stallions running out with the USFL trophy. Love it!
  11. US Army patches on the teams this year.
  12. I was trying to forget the rest of that game.

  14. I'd prefer the vuvezelas. At least they'll run out of air.
  15. The drones will be back. I hope this is only for the outdoor stadiums, because I think trying to have these buzz around at St. Louis and San Antonio will be an issue. Especially St. Louis if the stadium is full from top to bottom.
  16. It's just over the border. They were probably on the road when it sent.
  17. Does Cincinnati get his bones, though? I mean his name is literally on the collar of their jerseys.
  18. https://www.footyheadlines.com/2024/03/nike-usa-2024-remake-kit.html Nike will be re-releasing a US national kit, with the 1999 USWNT home shirt expected to the shirt released. This hasn't yet been confirmed however. They're also re-releasing a Brazil "9 Ronaldo" shirt in April. It's also available without the name and number: https://www.footyheadlines.com/2024/03/nike-re-release-the-brazil-1998-world-cup-kit.html Update: Andreas Pereira has posted a picture of him wearing the Nike Brazil 1998 World Cup remake kit. Nike will launch the Brazil 1998-2024 remake kit with Ronaldo 9 print, plus a player-free version, in March or April 2024.
  19. With spring football, it's unavoidable.
  20. Yup, this is the intention, to get more returns. One thing the XFL had was that if you dropped it in before the 20 yard line you'd get the ball at the 35 yard line. It bit the Defenders in the backside in the XFL Championship just when it looked like they could get back in the game. I don't know that the NFL setup the same penalties for falling short of the "target zone".
  21. Pretty much every XFL partner from last year will again be involved this year. Gatorade replacing Pedialyte for sideline hydration is the one big change. One interesting item on the UFL store. Bluetooth boom boxes. Mini helmets were shown, but it looks like they are still only available for the former USFL teams.
