They literally don't "still exist". They haven't been in the style guide for more than a decade, were never sent to Nike and no samples were ever made on Nike fabrics, would require more than 2 years to bring back, and... literally no longer actually exist in any factory. By your rationale, any uniform that was ever worn by any team technically "still exists" and can't be ruled out for alt helmets. That's silly. That's like saying my 6-pack abs still exist because I had them 10 years ago and could conceivably bring them back... likely with the same 2-year lead time the Eagles would need for these jerseys that don't exist.

Once a team has multiple looks they have no look. I'm OK with throwbacks because they clearly represent a different era and that era's look, but multiple looks within the same era is stupid.

Doesn't explain how Nike is able to outfit everyone else, and I would imagine Nike has fabric at every sweatshop everywhere. But I'm neither an expert in sportswear manufacturing nor economics, so take that with the proverbial grain of salt But we know that when they repealed the one-helmet rule, teams were given a deadline to add a second helmet for 2022. We also know that the deadline was only for helmets, as the deadline for 2022 jerseys had already passed, and that teams would need to wait till 2023 if they were adding a new jersey. We also now know (I'm assuming canzman knows his stuff) that TB removed the throwback jersey from their ensemble when they redesigned two seasons ago. Therefore, they're lying.

Are they just using "supply chain issues" to cover up that it's the NFL rule that they had to have declared for the throwback jersey two years ago - before the one-helmet rule was lifted? I thought it was common knowledge that 2023 was the first year most teams would be able to do a throwback uniform that required a different shell, unless they kept them in the style guide for the last however many years. When you look at how frequently NBA and NHL teams release new uniforms, it seems a little fishy that the "supply chain" is to blame, when we already know there's a rule.

Disagree. I think it's the future of traditional uniform design since sleeve stripes look like trash these days. Kinda similar to TA&M uniforms, just with each team's individual stripe pattern.

Since TV numbers aren't included in many redesigns anymore, they could be the trend setters and rather than have a truncated horizontal stripe on their "sleeve", they could take the same stripe and run it vertically from collar to cuff. It's still a traditional stripe and traditional look, but different enough to be a little interesting, and isn't impacted by the disappearance of sleeves.

Do any of their 16 fans know that the navy/white era ever actually happened? I'm not sure why the Rams would go with navy/white over a (insert fire emoji) BFBS uniform with matching helmet.

You're assuming either of them wanted to be in this league. Did either of them even sign a contract with the league to be eligible for the draft? It's not like Kaepernick was sitting by his laptop with a house full of people waiting for his name to be called.

Never forget that it was Warren Sapp who broke the Bucs tragic redesign back in 14 or 15, and we had heard nothing about it till days before.

Unlikely, since they would have had to have had that new black jersey in the works in 2019 and finalized in early 2020. They've been consistent in wanting a full kelly alt, so it stands to reason that's what's coming in 2023. As for how many helmets, I'm not totally sure, so maybe they can have midnight green, black, and kelly, but that would be a disaster so I really hope they never have more than two.

Leave the flags for hokey college uniforms. It was nice when they first moved, since an NFL team in Phoenix was such a novelty and nothing else major on the uniform changed, but that novelty wore off quickly and there's no need for the flag or any flag inspiration to appear again.
