I based it off of an actual golden eagle rather than a bald eagle. With some refining this will be a top notch high school logo! I would like to see the logo without the transparency to get a better look at the design. The retouching of the beak also makes it look more polished and stronger, I guess. However,I feel like there is a lot of empty space on the bottom right side of the logo, meaning it kinda looks like you drew an arbitrary line stating you couldn't move past it.
