Voting is here! We received 18 submissions for the teams from Groups EF.

 

Voting for Group EF will last from Wednesday, November 30, through Saturday, December 3. All CCSLC members are invited to vote on concepts, but you may not vote for your own design. Members should vote on their top four ranked concepts. You can vote for multiple concepts for the same team.

 

Points will be awarded for all votes as follows:

• First Place:           4 pts
• Second Place:     3 pts
• Third Place:         2 pts
• Fourth Place:      1 pt

 

The top four (4) entries from this group will advance to the Knockout Tournament. In the event of a tie, a tiebreaker will be awarded to the entry with the most first place votes:

• If first place votes are tied, second place votes are used as the tiebreaker
• If second place votes are tied, third place votes are used as the tiebreaker
• If third place votes are tied, fourth place votes are used as the tiebreaker
• If fourth place votes are tied, a coin flip is used as the tiebreaker

The crest and kits reference the lion from Spain's Coat of Arms. The primary has a fur-like pattern, while the clash is affectionately known as the 'cat scratch kit'. The scarf and primary's crosses references Spain's Catholic history. The yellow element on the clash is inspired by a knight's cape.

Canada’s new brand features five interchangeable crests that celebrate unique founding dates in Canada’s history. The home kit features a modern spin on the maple leaf tartan graphic, while the away kit boasts a bold graphic inspired by the Northern Lights and traditional woven Inuit baskets.

The new Canadian badge includes the beaver, a national symbol and prominent icon. Canada's kits incorporate the classic angled Maple Leaf set from 1996, this time in a tonal pattern. The deep violet away shirt evokes the fluorescent Northern Lights illuminating the Canadian night sky.
