PVF's first TV game is tonight on CBS Sports Network. Hoping for a good crowd turnout in Grand Rapids.

LOVB still signing more players to their league.

The presentation on CBS Sports Network is pretty good. Not a fan of the placement of their scorebug though. I'll try to find a screenshot of it later.

Caught a little glimpse of it. Hated the scorebug placement.

It was off in the bottom left instead of being a bar at the bottom. Looked more like one of those pop-up stats graphics than an actual scorebug.

@Germanshepherd It was very odd to see. Especially since the scorebug in other CBSSN broadcasts for other sports has never stood out to me as much as it did for the PVF game last night.

Atlanta gets back at Omaha again, cementing themselves as best team in the league, especially since they're the only teams above .500

Also caught a little bit of Grand Rapids Rise/Vegas Thrill, and wow does Rise sound awkward as hell as a team name, even compared to the other singular names in the league.

It only works with "Grand Rapids" in front of it. By itself, it just feels weird. Even "The Rise" doesn't help. At least "The Vibe", "The Fury", "The Thrill", "The Mojo", seems to work on its own.

When Dallas enters the PVF next year, I am most interested in what the venue will be.  The most likely venues would be Comerica Arena in Frisco, Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, College Park Center in Arlington and Credit Union of Texas Event Center in Allen.  A darkhorse candidate would be another venue in Frisco: Ford Center at the Star.  The American Airlines Center is unlikely to be an option.

There were arguably several options in the Columbus area, yet the Fury ended up playing in an NHL arena. As of right now Omaha is the only team that can justifiably play in an NBA/NHL level arena.

The basic problem with the American Airlines Center as the Dallas-Fort Worth PVF team's home court is that as long as that arena hosts both the NBA's Mavericks and the NHL's Stars, a third sports team whose season overlaps with at least half of the NBA and NHL seasons will have a lot of difficulty in getting attractive dates for matches.

This team has been an unstoppable force. So why do I have a feeling they're going to pull a Falcons?

They are not going to pull a Falcons because there's not a team from Boston for them to take a lead and then choke it away from.

For now, yes.  There's a reason that Mark Cuban sold a majority ownership of the Mavericks to the people who own the Sands Casino, with him retaining a minority share and control of basketball operations.  Cuban hopes that the sale will speed up the legalization of Casino Gambling in Texas so that he can build a new arena that is the centerpiece of a hotel and casino in the DFW Metroplex.

But for the time being, I suspect that the Dallas PVF team will not use the American Airlines Center.

Is reunion still standing?

Frisco or Allen maybe?
