I just got an random idea, what cities without college bowl games should attempt to get a bowl...if I get enough cities i may create a poll.....

I think Columbia (South Carolina), Birmingham, Tulsa and Syracuse would be good ideas

The list of non-bowl cities are: (updated 9:40 pm 11/4)

Columbia, SC

Birmingham

Tulsa

Syracuse

St Louis

Tacoma

Fargo

Indianapolis

Uggh. No one. Already half the teams make it to a bowl.

IF I had to pick one, it would be somewhere small because any new bowl will get small attendance. I pick either Tacoma, Wa or Fargo, ND.

How about the Hall of Fame Bowl in Indianapolis' RCA Dome?

"I better go take a long walk off a short pier or something."

Some people on this bolard have told me to do just that.

If that's where the college FB HOF is, then I'm all for it!

The NCAA hall of fame is in Indy but the College Football HoF is in South Bend.

Well, the game would be played in Indy because it gets too cold in the Hoosier State in December, especially in South Bend.

Some people were pitching the idea of a bowl here, but SC's AD said no, like with allowing the Panthers to play their first season here, allowing our ECHL team to play in the new arena, sharing a new baseball park with a minor league team, etc.

Really, I think there are more than enough bowls, and if there has to be another one, I'd have to say that they should avoid anything farther North than say, Legion Field in Birmingham, because it is too cold anywhere else. (Obviously, cities with domes would be ok.) However, there is a bowl game in Boise, so anything's possible.

I've decided to give up hope for all sports teams I follow

"How about the Painfully Erect Nipple Bowl at Soldier Field.  Mmm, Chicago in January."

Or just call it the Janet Jackson Wardrobe Malfunction Bowl.
