BBTV
Talking about good alt unis, citing a few examples, Arizona, Houston and Philadelphia have good alt unis. Philadelphia alt. uni's? What do you mean? Do you consider the interleague cap w/ the blue bill an alt. uni? FUNKAFIED
Anyone remember the Minnesota Twins "Dairy Queen" style alts they tried 2-3 years ago? Bright red unis with white "TWINS" script across the front. After a couple games in those, I don't think I ever saw them again.

sacker12
Now that I thought about it more, I guess the reason why the Braves chose to wear a red jersey rather than a navy jersey was a red jersey would feel cooler to wear than a navy jersey would in the hot summer months in Atlanta. jm1266
In response to Simpsontide's first post... The Pittsburgh Pirates new alternate will not just be a jersey, but rather a full uniform featuring pinstripes. It will be introduced at PirateFest next weekend, if not sooner.
