oz615 Posted May 31, 2005 Share Posted May 31, 2005 Ok so far y'all have seen my Tennessee Concept,and Miami (FL) concept,now i prensent to you my Vanderbilt concept,and like my Miami concept i kinda went extreme make over on theese too,because for some reason their current uniform are not clicking for me especial their black alt. jerseys,because frankly when you wear any jersey that has the jersey number as the same color of the actual jersey, then its deffinetly time for change.And rember as always question,coments and suggestions are always welcomed.NOTE: the actual concept will be posted in a few minutes cause im on a public computer and thought i had the image alredy uploaded in Photobuck but apparently i didn't so i will have it uploaded in no later than 30 min,that's when i get home.I apologize for any inconvenience this has caused Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

southpawstu19 Posted May 31, 2005 Share Posted May 31, 2005 ive been to a few vandy games this year, and ive noticed that they use one pair of pants of everything, there is no grey pant option. currently my favorite combination is the gold alternate jersey that they have, which has a "V" on the left chest, but other then that the combinations are just not good, they dont really match.o yea they use sometimes jerseys made by rawlings, nike, and wilson, but only use wilson pants. it may by unusual but that really erks me. You knew I had to add my beliefs.Here's the "Cardinaldore" that Discrim makes reference to ...Now on to the concept ...I enjoy seeing the "V" in front of the star on the hats, and I don't know why the baseball team scrapped those. While I appreciate how your update to the style incorporates the current style of V that is featured on the arched block wordmark, I still enjoy what Vanderbilt wore just befor ethe switch to the current hats, cap-wise. I still rock mine, even if people will approach me from time to time and ask what it is. I've heard everything from a Houston Astros minor league club to a Dallas Stars hat. The guy who thought that only liked hockey, though.Your black improves upon the shoulder stripes of the black the baseball team currently wears. So does the gold. And the sleeveless pinstripe alternate is reminiscent of a cross between a Pirates alternate and a White Sox jersey. I imagine you mean to go with sleevelessness and not faux sleevelessness. That logo makes me think of incredibly awful baseball under Mewburne. The new look, and especially the cap, is winning baseball under Corbin. I think they should go to the V for the overall identity. Gold football helmet, black V thinly outlined in white. Perfect. But, I like what they have now on the helmet too. Major improvement from the years before Bobby Johnson.
