Posted November 30, 2005 Share Posted November 30, 2005 Really, I was just fooling around with the idea of having the Patriot's breath showing in the cold, then I added snow to emphasize that it is cold, and he's not smoking. I'd like to get a fan's perspective. Honestly, I just don't see this as an upgrade. I know you said the flying Elvis isn't smoking, but that's the first thing I see when I look at it. And I know the Pats have a reputation (and rightfully so) for being a snowy-weathered team, but I don't think the team would want their primary logo giving that impression. From a fan's point of view, I think this would be cool on the jumbo-tron during the winter months. The Elvis looks great in the position you have him in (looks cold and hunched over) I can really get the feeling from the logo that it is wet, snowy and cold. I think this idea would work best if it just entailed an animated use of the existing logo so that it is clear that Elvis is standing/huddled in the snow. As is, I agree that it is unclear what we are looking at. It really doesn't look much like snow.
