brinkeguthrie
SI.com:[based on a survey of 357 NFL players] Visitors might get too comfortable in the spacious locker room at Denver's five-year-old Invesco Field -- the Broncos are unbeaten at home this year.... Complaints about the 49ers' visitor's room, built decades ago for MLB's Giants, include that it's crowded, far from the field and generally dingy. infrared41
yeah i dont care whether we're talking pro or college.... iowa's PINK visitors locker rooms are the worst. i dont know about the whole psychological ploy, kinda stupid in my opinion.....psh....pink. I once read about a study on the color pink and the calming effect it supposedly has on people. There was a jail or holding cell or something that the police dept. had painted pink to keep detainees calm. The study found that while the pink worked at keeping them calm for a little while, after a short time the color had the opposite effect and the people in the room got very agitated and angry. Maybe the Hawkeyes should take a look at that study.
Bleujayone
I've noticed that with the exception of the Bucs, most of the teams on the "worst" list are in older stadiums, also I would imagine that the Cardinals will not be the worst next year when they move into their new stadium. And while the Packers have an older stadium on the "best" list they did just have a major overhaul of the facilities. It's also very curious that they are on BOTH lists.

Kinda stupid? Maybe. But evidently it worked to a degree - it freaked out Bo Schembechler to the point that he brought rolls of paper with him to Iowa City to cover up the pink walls. Whether it truly works or not (some jails now also dress inmates in pink jumpsuits and keep them in pink cells, with admittedly mixed results... a color isn't going to stop s sociopath from being a sociopath), it got into enough heads to be an obvious distraction. Sport
[based on a survey of 357 NFL players] Best visitors locker room:Browns.....4% that is in stark contrast from old cleveland stadium where the visitors locker room was pretty much a couple of metal trailers. The fans would walk by and bang the walls. Huge home field advantage for the browns.

It's also very curious that they are on BOTH lists. SI always finds bits of information like that. Once they took an online survey with any fans of the NFL and found out that the Cowboys are America's favorite and most hated team. How 'bout dem Cowboys?Damn Cowboys. (wait a minute. that's Yankees)
winghaz
Man, I could tell about some high school locker rooms. But I realize some people may be eating as they read this.
