If you don't know what I'm talking about, Click here Unless the Blue Jackets' number font is Copperplate(it does look that way now), I didn't use it. Regardless, I didn't use it intentionally. It looks good for a number font IMO though, although it is overused. The wordmark font is called Demonize. I wasn't belittling your concept, sorry if you felt I was. There are plenty of raster templates in the TEMPLATES thread pinned in the concepts forum. Just find one that suits your style. Can't wait to see what you have. I actually like the space between the A and Z, but I kind of saw an opportunity to do something with it. If you added a serif on the right side of the point of the A, the negative space will look like a spear. Just a thought, although the added serif might look awkward. Also, The helmet logo's kind of large, what if you just used the "A"?Adding color to the facepaint would look great IMO. Great work! If you don't mind me asking, what font are the jersey numbers? As for colored face paint, it was kind of throwing off how the gold and red never directly touches, and if i placed a green outline around it it looked weird so im not gonna change that. gordie_delini Posted February 6, 2006 Share Posted February 6, 2006 roxstar - you do realize that crusaders were christian knights who went on pilgrimage to conquer the holy land in jerusalem - not vikings, right? just thought i'd ask...it's a nice concept for like...the raiders or something like that...i like it, don't get me wrong, just as a history buff, it bugs me a bit in that respect...really nothing consequential...wow...i'm rambling now....time to lay off the coffee...
