ninersdd
In the Kings Warriors, game Bonzi Wells hit the ball up in the air after getting a foul called against him. That led to a technical, or so I had thought. He was ejected! Just another case of a bad call by NBA refs. HedleyLamarr
Perhaps he was showing up the referees....He should have just given the ball to the ref, like any professional would.
Lumbergh
Perhaps he was showing up the referees....He should have just given the ball to the ref, like any professional would. agreed, refs have no choice in those situations, and are starting to become stricter, even though they sure do let players get away with a lot. ROCHitman
Did the ball go in the stands? If so, it calls for an automatic ejection. in that case, the refs had no choice but to make the right call. No it didnt technically, i think. It went close, but that was because someone on the sidelines punched it and it flew near the stands into the tunnel. Im working radio for the Kings game right now so i didnt see it, but i was suprized when i heard Bonzi was ejected. Cujo
It doesn't matter where the ball ended up. Bonzi is supposed to be a professional and and it seems like all he tried to do was show the refs up who are there to enforce those type of actions. Good call by the officials. It's also regular season, so what's it even matter? And on top if that it's Kings v Warriors ...

WSU151
Carmelo did the same thing last night. After a call, he punched the ball into the stands...got ejected...and was fined $15,000 today. It's the right call. Smart is believing half of what you hear. Genius is knowing which half.

SEMOSTLfan
i must have missed the memo, I didn't know referees still made calls in the NBA. If so they must have taken traveling and carrying out of the rule book. World Champions: 1926 1931 1934 1942 1944 1946 1964 1967 1982 2006
