The alternate will either be hit or miss, I feel it's a bit gaudy but who knows, you tell me...C&C as always...
BBM
I'd love this, they wouldn't look like the red menace anymore. And yeah the alt is a bit garish. But I'd take it if it meant these were the new regulars. I'm interested in how you'd incorporate vertical stripes into some of these. I like your concepts a lot but I know the NHL is going to move in the vertical direction, and I'm curious if you could make that look palatable (because frankly, it sounds like a terrible idea to me). VitaminD
Very nice. My only gripe is the same one I have with every 'Canes concept, and it's not anything you did. If you're going to use the warning flag-on-a-stick logo, use the correct one. A single warning flag stands for hurricane warning; in the event of an actual hurricane, two warning flags are flown, one above the other. Since the team is named for the force of nature itself, rather than the warning of the possible approach of said force of nature, two flags should be flying on the stick. I've never understood why the team would brand themselves this way. North Carolina gets enough hurricanes that they should know the difference in the warning flags. And the flags are such a great idea to visually represent the team (only the Avalanche could do something similar), too... "Start spreading the news... They're leavin' today... Won't get to be a part of it... In old New York..."In order for the Mets' run of 12 losses in 17 games to mean something, the Phillies still had to win 13 of 17.
