Orange jersey and orange pants with white shoulders trimmed and lined in green. White helmet with green cross and trim, this combination lasted for Hughes' final two seasons. roxfan00 Posted June 11, 2008 Author Share Posted June 11, 2008 Some explanation to the color orange in their uniforms...1933 to 1939, 1942, 1945 to 1947This uniform begins to resemble the modern CSU football colors and styles with a dark green jersey, orange numerals and orange/dark yellow pants. The orange helmet with green cross is the classic Aggie style helmet known by most Ram fans today. In the 1940's the helmet varies from the 1930's style.Note: When the colors orange and dark yellow are described in the uniforms, they were intended to represent the school color of GOLD.
