jblommel
Went to their website. The ticket prices seems outrages for an "A" team. Although, I am kinda a cheap scape...
totc
I'd guess the unforms would be identical to the Sarasota Red Sox.

BBTV
The entire set sucks!Do you post anything other than "it sucks!"?Anyway, I hate it that they "minor leagued" the Red Sox home jerseys. It's too classic of a jersey to outfit an A league team in, but they should have come up with something better than just making it a vest and slapping some tacky patches on the sleeves. Also, the Red Sox font just doesn't work as front numbers on the alt IMO. They look great on the back, but horrible on the front. The one positive from this uniform set (other than the caps, which are OK) is the road uniform. I think that would make for a great jersey for the parent club - kind of a cross of the 70s / 80s set and the current set. Maybe even add a red outline to the navy (so basically a reverse of what they currently have.) VirginiaTechSucks
Not a big fan of the entire set either. They showed these on the news tonight and it got mixed reaction. I wish they would have kept Avalanche and changed the colors to that of Boston, but I also understand the reason why they did it. I have a 2007 game worn Avalanche jersey and 3 game caps so I won't be buying any of the new merchandise. About the ticket prices which was mentioned earlier. That was last years ticket prices as well here. I go to about 20 games a year and the 8 bucks i spend at the ballpark is much more entertaining in my opinion than a movie. RyanB06
The entire set sucks! You're a Yankee fan. Your opinion, therefore, about anything Red Sox means nil. Lowell already does the faux-vest for the home jerseys, so there isn't anything new there. The home alt looks somewhat like a look I put together for the big club a couple years back (might have been 2005, I'll have to check), except I used the two-socks logo in place of the S and red sleeves. And it was a real vest. But I digress.IMO, they should've used the BP cap for the home and vice-versa - evokes memories of 1975. What I don't get is that the big club is all gung-ho for emphasizing red and here the color's barely existent, opting to go with a primarily blue theme. Now, I'll bet it's for the Blue Ridge Mountains, but you get the idea. The only knock I have is that the sleeve patches look to be too dang big. But all in all, for a Red Sox affiliate this is a solid set. Just my 2 cents. EDIT: Forgot one other thing. The roadie is too plain. It's not just Salem, it's practically the rest of the system. Except for Greenville - theirs breaks the let's-cop-out-and-copy-the-parent-club mold.
