raysox
SO I was looking around my sports art folder, and came across some of my early work. I use to only do art for Icethetics. Well one time, I made Turn Ahead the Clock Night jerseys for some NHL teams. I thought some of you guys might get a kick out of them. Now for all you out there that don't know. Turn Ahead the Clock Night was a promotion that the MLB had in 1999. The goal was to make all the jerseys look like what they would in the future. Here are what the jerseys looked like.So here are my concepts. First is my favorite out of the bunch, my jersey for the Sabers.Next is the Canucks.Last is the Leafs.Tacky, eh? If you enjoy them, I might take a stab at some more. I'm also open to requests.

You used all these traditional striping and sleeve patterns on futuristic jerseys, and no numbers. Plus MLB even at least came up with a different type of jersey (sleeveless) for the "future." (And if you've seen the supposed NFL "futuristic" jerseys that's reinforced even more.) This is more like a jersey with an identity crisis, IMO. I also agree with GBM about the design, these aren't revolutionary at all, they just have really big logos. If you want something futuristic, experiment with new name/number placement, new cuts, new equipment types, etc.
raysox
Hey again. I have my concept, numbers, and all, for the Caps. I think this one is A LOT better than my first set. I decided to use the "Weagle" on the front. I wanted to try to wrap it around the jersey. I turned the name plate onto the side. Enjoy. What do you think? I'm not sure who I'm doing next. And according to your profile, you're 14. I'm not claiming to be that much older, but still, no. Oh and in this future, the jerseys are tighter-fitting, are less water-absorbent, and are more flexible than before.

To celebrate, then we could have every single team redesign their logos and/or uniforms to launch this revolutionary product. Tubular! Agreed, the Caps is a step in the right direction. raysox
I have my concept for the Flyers for you now. IF you look at the link in the first post(which I fixed), some logos were made futuristic. Go to it to see what I mean. But I was looking for teams to do, and I came across the 3-D chrome Flyers logo, and I had an idea flash into my head. Just see what came to me.C&C please.Still undecided on who I'm doing next. Now that I think of it, was the first couple NHL third jerseys really that different form turn ahead the clock night?Gotta love it.
siegel0572
First of all, this was a horrible idea for baseball when they did it and it's not a good idea now for any league to do. I guess I'm showing all of my 39 years but I prefer the turn BACK the clock. Secondly, these jerseys are out there for sure and don't look terribly bad considering what the concept is.
