CC97
Just came across this 2-year-old photo on flickr when I noticed the ball-in-glove logo (or a variant of it) on Andruw Jones' batting gloveAnyone know the story behind this? --- Chris Creamer Founder/Editor, SportsLogos.Net "The Mothership" • News • Facebook • X/Twitter • Instagram
Audiodrama
Wow. Interesting, to say the least. Jones has no history with any level of the Brewers organization, right?
Epiphanic
It is interesting, but it doesn't look like a baseball in the palm of the glove. "In the arena of logic, I fight unarmed."I tweet & tumble.
bnick05
It's a logo he used exclusively on his batting gloves and cleats. Kind of a play on the Gold Glove awards he won, I think. The logo does look a lot like the Brewers logo but has the #25 stitched in the palm.Seen here on his spikes:
BBTV
The three-fingered glove totally makes the logo look like the BIG. I'm surprised nobody would have pointed that out when they decided to make that his logo. Coast2CoastAM2006
ha ha hes an agent for the Ball in Glove revolution. Spoilers!
njmeadowlanders
Also note that there is navy and red on the glove, red certainly not a Brewers color at the time, and even now it's only Maroon/Burgandy in logos and whatnot.

Gothamite
I'm not sure, from those pictures, that it doesn't.Regardless, it seems clear that somebody started with the BnG. So I have to wonder - why didn't he (or whatever sportswear copany he endorses) hire a designer if he wanted a personal logo? The Green Bay Packers Uniform Database! Now in a handy blog.
