So I've been to Minor Leagues, Major Dreams and Ecapcity, but what are some other baseball cap and apparel sites out there?

Of course, I mean stuff that isn't the run of the mill usuals that you see on the MLB.com shops. Cooperstown stuff, alternative colors, maybe things that are a year or two old - etc.

Have you tried here.

I feel your pain as well. As a collector of hats especially Cooperstown Collection (I have 215), since the demise of Distant Replays, the only other sites that I know are www.mickeysplace.com and www.hatclub.com. Mickey's Place said that they are not adding any New Era Cooperstown but have added a few American Needle recently. The only annoying thing is the American Needle is now adding a "AN" logo to the side of the caps like New Era. Recently, all New Era Cooperstown caps have had the New Era logo on the side which is a lame move on their part.

I remember as a kid I used to love getting catalogs in the mail for some company in New York called Manny's. Does anybody else recall this company and if it still exists?

Yes, but it's been suspended for 50 games. *grin*

I know of the company you speak of, but I'm not sure about its current situation. I'll look into it for you.

BTW, mickeysplace is a great site. I go there to browse quite often.

Yeah, now they are most likely the only place on the web that you can get a Montgomery Biscuits hat (at least the home hat).

I'm bummed out that Minor Leagues quit carrying Biscuits hats. They used to have the best selection of anyone, period. In fact, they were the only with an exclusive Biscuits hat (basically the road hat with the home logo on it). However, that one got dumped. I think it was because the team decided to market a new hat that is solid blue with a stylized "B" on it. I'm guessing that that is the new "official retail alternate" hat.

yeah thanks. i had actually looked there mulitple times with no luck. I was trying to steer clear from a 59fifty, which was what they seemed to have for any hat whatsoever with the home or road design. i decided to settle on a bp flexfit hat, and it should be coming in a coupe of weeks. thanks

On a side note, the solid blue hat that I talked about for the Biscuits is actually their new alternate road hat. I just saw some game highlights when they were in Mobile, and they were wearing the hat. I first saw it when I saw a kid wearing it a week ago.

Unfortunately, Manny's Baseball Land does not exist any longer. The store used to be across the street from the old Yankee Stadium. The mail order side of the business was acquired by ProTeam and they closed the store.
