The Sens Chirp blog is sometimes accurate, and some other times it's not, it's pretty hit or miss.In any case, here is the 3rd jersey in question. I'm not a big fan of the red helmet, but I am a big proponent of the =O= logo. All in all, I really hope that this rumour is for real, as I've been itching for a Sens retro jersey for quite some time and I am definitely not a fan of the Senators current 3rd jerseys.Edit: These 3 jerseys have now surfaced. The profile logos (both of them) are better looking marks than either of the 3/4ths view logos.As for the third jersey rumor; last season there was a black version of this jersey being thrown around, and if worn, would be the best jersey the Senators have worn since their inception in '92. The red is ok, but i agree with most of you that if the helmet were black, it would help make this concept look significantly better. IceCap Posted December 8, 2009 Share Posted December 8, 2009 The old profile logo never really impressed me to be honest (neither did the old 3D one), but the new profile mark is much better then the new 3D one. The Sens have a few nice logos, the new profile logo and the =O= logo, they've just failed to utilize them properly. I don't know what it is, but the 3D logos never looked right to me. I really like the black one, but surprisingly, I'd have to say the white one is my favourite. Very neat & simple design, also it kind of looks like the original home jerseys from 1992. Put the current profile secondary logo on the shoulders, throw on the old laurels somewhere, either along the bottom hem or around the collar, and it's a masterpiece.
