TruColor
For some reason, I started looking at the full set of graphics for the Ottawa Senators on the main site, and noticed that I had some corrections and additions to offer. Admittedly, I'm no expert on the Senators history, so I'll ask you guys to help me out in pointing out any mistakes I might be making in presenting their entire logo set optimized for RGB.All of these graphics come from official logosheets - it's possible that some of these might be inaccurate, but it's what I have to work with. I'll start from the oldest graphics and move forward; in addition, I will present the logos both with metallic RGB values, and a separate version showing the flat alternate colors.Primary Logo 1 - 1992-1993 through 1996-1997 (metallic version):Primary Logo 1 - 1992-1993 through 1996-1997 (flat alternate version):Secondary Logo 1 - 1992-1993 through 2006-2007 (metallic):Secondary Logo 1 - 1992-1993 through 2006-2007 (flat):Secondary Logo 2 - 1992-1993 through 2006-2007 (metallic):Secondary Logo 2 - 1992-1993 through 2006-2007 (flat):Wordmark 1 - 1993-1994 through 1996-1997:Wordmark 2 - 1993-1994 through 1996-1997:Yes, this logo was considered an official wordmark for the above listed seasons....more to come...EDIT: I modified the start date for the wordmarks...they weren't officially designated as wordmarks until the Sens' second season. Not an easy thing to do, even with the French logos, but you got it. Big ups. One request here: you have the new Senators wordmarks on red and white backgrounds. Is it possible for you guys to put them on a black background?
TruColor
I found in my notes that the original "wordmarks" weren't designated as such until the 1993-1994 season. I made the corrections. Here are the current wordmarks on Black, instead of Red:Wordmark 4/English version - 2007-2008 through present (metallic):Wordmark 4/English version - 2007-2008 through present (flat):Wordmark 5/French version - 2007-2008 through present (metallic):Wordmark 5/French version - 2007-2008 through present (flat):
caperlogo13
Actually, dude, now that I've seen the years for each logo, there IS a minor correction. It's with the wordmark logo that says Ottawa Senators that has the two T's forming the Peace Tower. That was the original logo that the Sens wanted to use when they returned to the NHL in 1990-1991. It was used during their expansion application campaign. When the logo was turned down for use by the NHL, that was when they went with the centurion-themed logo. Weird, I know.
TrueYankee26
Might be a silly question, but Was there any "official" wordmark for 1992-93? trueyankee26.wordpress.com

Roger Clemente
Anyone else notice that the maple leaf in the flag of the original wordmark is NOT the one from the actual Canadian flag, but the somewhat flattened 11-point leaf that is the Toronto Maple Leafs primary logo? Follow me on Twitter if you care: @Animal_Clans.My opinion may or may not be the same as yours. The choice is up to you.

andrewharrington
I love this logo. I think it's a great update of the original and should adorn their jerseys. I still don't have a website, but I have a dribbble now! http://dribbble.com/andyharry [The postings on this site are my own and do not necessarily represent the position, strategy or opinions of adidas and/or its brands.]

Morgan33
I love this logo. I think it's a great update of the original and should adorn their jerseys.I agree. Why isn't this one their primary???Because that would make sense. Its a shame the best logo in the Senators current identity is not used anywhere. It'd make a far better shoulder patch than the =O=. And as for the "Sens" third jersey, I cant believe they would go out of their way to make such an unimaginative, bushleague Crest when this beauty has been on the shelf since 2007.
