Discrim
82 season...raglan seemed like a good idea. So did gold as the base color.1997...I figure the Germanic threads would've lasted longer than they did if the Barrel Man was the primary instead of the Motre Bame. And a vest woulda been nice too.2011...A wholesale Pilots tribute. Scrambled wheat anyone?2011...Milwaukee Braves tribute. Though I'd imagine the Barley Chop will be a tough sell. Chapeeko
I love the first and last ones. I have a question though. What is that line going over the name on back? Is it the path you put your text on? Just wanted to know.
Discrim
Thanks, and yeah, that's the text path. I could've stood to knock down its opacity a bit, but then again I'd rather not forget it's there when I revisit it for another concept. UnclearInitial
Loving the last three (especially the scrambled barley, the barley below the script and the barrel numbers) but the first one looks garish.
Lights Out
The barley-billed cap is genius. I like the last three a lot. Great job, and I look forward to seeing what crazy ideas you have cooked up for the Rays whenever you get around to doing their "Lonely Alts." Sec19Row53
Scrim - Let me know when I can buy one of those Pilot tributes. Those are a thing of beauty. The first one really works for Milwaukee - it has that Softball/beer league feel to it, which is very fitting for the city. The old Milwaukee Schlitz softball team could have worn them. It's where I sit.
KCScout76
Discrim...these are awesome. I love the "barley chop" the best. I like the use of the Barrel Man.  Kansas City Scouts (CHL) Orr Cup Champions 2010, 2019, 2021     St. Joseph Pony Express (ULL)  2023 Champions   Kansas City Cattle (CL)
Discrim
anythinglogos, thanks...all I mainly do is try , some works, some doesn't.Lights Out, I was actually gonna pass on doing the Rays, but then again they've had enough different sets that I think I could work with each era. Sec19Row53, hadn't thought of the softball angle, I was mainly experimenting there (and a couple elements I was considering were a blue version of the Bucks' old Irish rainbow, Marquette's Bo Kimble era camouflage sides or blue/gold Packers sleeve stripes), but the way you put it, makes a lot of sense seeing as every other person I went to high school with seems to have been in a beer league at one point or another (and if I know this state half as well as I think I do, so has every other person you know ) A strong mind gets high off success, a weak mind gets high off bull
Frylock
Oh yeah, the Brewers/Pilots mashup is genius!!! And I would totally buy and wear the hat and jersey from that set. Excellent work!
loogodude90
I like the fact that you are emphasizing the gold. I wish the real team would do that. I still think they should get a gold alternate jersey. Or at the very least a gold brimmed cap that to wear on Sunday home games or something along those lines. illwauk
I'm pretty outspoken about my distaste for the current Brewers identity, but I LOVE the Barley Chop look. All they'd need to do is tweak the script so it flows better with the barley and top it with your Pilots-inspired cap minus the unnecessary underline (granted, I understand why you used it) and this would be one of my favorite looks in MLB.
