Maybe it's kind of a placeholder for people to use actual Jets jerseys before they release the code to unlock the current set.Like the Thrashers set would belong with the current Jets. fishheatcats Posted October 24, 2011 Share Posted October 24, 2011 It bothers me that the Jets jerseys were not in the game to begin with(that and the Panthers roads, which were never intended to be anything special and therefore were not officially "unveiled" like the red home one was at the Draft).I know the timetable was short, but I think they probably could have at least had an update ready day one with the jerseys.Also something I noticed today, when you make it to the Stanley Cup, the Cup Finals logo goes on the jerseys but on dark colored ones you can see a white square flickering around the area on the chest where it is. Why have these omissions been ok with everybody for the past how many years? I'm just now coming back to the EA series after switching to 2K back in 2004, and I'm not impressed. I had a friend tell me he wishes they showed the goalies getting switched when they're pulled, and I remember Don Taylor's jokes during that sequence back in 2002. Why is there such a collective amnesia about these "features"? I can't believe EA has the gall to publicize the fact that they've been put in, because they never should have been removed. Simple things as you have mentioned with showing the goalie being switched, are gone. Why? Aren't these the new systems that should include the old things PLUS new stuff?I'm confused. EA lets me down often, but since they control the market on sports video games there isn't alot we can do.Why the hell does it take til November to release jersey codes and fixes? When you pay that much for a game, are you wrong for expecting more?I wish they would have all of the jerseys of teams to choose from. This seems like something that would be so simple and easy to put it. If not all, alot of jerseys. I'd love to have a good selection to choose from. I would think not, seeing as ASG owns the rights to them.The logo is still in the game, when you go to create a team so I see no reason why they wouldn't be allowed to use them in the game still. hormone Posted October 24, 2011 Share Posted October 24, 2011 From what I read, the Jets jerseys aren't on the disk (hence the NHL placeholders) and will be patched in later (when revealed, when Sony and MS approve patches, when they are ready to address glitches) and the other jerseys are on disk, just need "unlocked" I am hoping really soon, but I heard December now for the jerseys to release since (maybe the Isles) aren't slated to wear their's until then.
