Well, we're down to 5 teams. The Washington Power are gone. Let's take a look now, shall we?

5 games, 3 of 4 series over. We knew that LA and Winnipeg were headed to the Final 4, We still had 2 eastern series to be decided.

Montreal stays alive on home ice against the Titanic. A very even game goes the way of les Espions, as they head back out east to Halifax for game 6, trying to fight off elimination again.

Washington's 3rd elimination game doesn't go as they like it to. The Ottawa Governors got off to a 4-0 lead, and are off to the 3rd round. Who they'll play is still up in the air.

Like I said, Ottawa will not be place into the bracket's 3rd round until they'll know where they'll be slotted. Halifax win means Ottawa hosts Winnipeg, Montreal win means that Ottawa takes the long travel to LA.

Enjoy!

As for what's going on today, Montreal and Halifax were still bidding for a chance in the final 4. Halifax, looking to clinch it at home. let's take a look!

No! In another overtime game, Montreal sinks the Titanic in their home rink. Montreal will HOST game 7, deciding if they get the right to be a part of the top 4. Montreal outwinning Halifax 3-1 in the past 4 games.

Again, Montreal wins means that they get Winnipeg. Halifax win means they go and face Montreal.

C'mon Titanic! LA needs those beasts out of the way!

Thought the LA fans might say that! Yeah, that would do a big favour to the other 3 teams if Halifax won, but quite frankly, look out for the Titanic too. They had a big hot streak in about the last 10 games of the regular season, and a 6-3 edge vs New York and Montreal is respectable at the least....And I already know what happens! Look for it soon. Cheers!

Well, and then then there were 4. Halifax and Montreal faced off in the the biggest game of the SLH season, the winner to get a chance at being a minimum of 8 wins, the loser has played their final game of the season. Here we go.

Wasn't even close from the beginning. Montreal, well, was Montreal, and they crush the Titanic when it mattered most. A Montreal crowd chanted "Allons Y Les Espions! Allons Y Les Espions!" Throughout the entire first intermission, with their team up by 3. Montreal would keep that lead the whole way, and sail on smooth waters to the 3rd round. 3rd round picture? let's see!

Montreal get Winnipeg! And LA takes on Ottawa. Remember, each are 3 game series, but neither are elimination series. the winners take on each other, again, 3gamer for a spot in the Championship final, while the 2 losers compete for a chance to take on the loser of the winners' game. Head-to-head and schedules up soon!

Well, since both series will be cross conference, there's limited sample size. Only 2 games played between Ottawa and LA, and only 1 more, at 3, between les espions and Winnipeg.

Things to note:

-Ottawa the lowest point-getting team of the 4 by 6

- LA the only chance for the SLH Cup to remain south of the border.

- Road team is 3-0 in the Winnipeg-Montreal head to head, and 5-1 in the past 2 seasons.

-Both decisions in the Ott-LAB series went 4-2 o the home team.
