  1. @Htown1141, you just got a shout out from the Browns.
  2. McCall, looks like you're onto something regarding San Diego. There is rumor of possible expansion in 2025 if XFL is still around. From the article
  3. It's already a win if/when more than 3,050* people go to a future A's game in Vegas. * 3,035 is currently the lowest attended A's game so far in the 2023 season.
  4. Geographically speaking, the cities in the Mideast Section are actually in the Midwest. Also, the Mid-South Section name is wrong since it is a different part of the U.S. Maybe go with Appalachia or Mid-Atlantic instead?
  5. Happy that the Giants, Caps, Nats, and the All Blacks have won championships since 2011 I'm pretty much set for life going to both Caps and Nats first championship parades in back-to-back years. Ryan Newman came close in 2014 but slowly faded into oblivion before ending his career in 2021. My interest in NASCAR has been nonexistent since about 2015 because of too many stupid things to list with the "sport". Also, as I've gotten older, I don't understand how people can easily root for so many teams in various sports leagues, but whatever.
  6. Looking forward to the next rebrand in about 15 years!
  7. Perhaps the only positive aspect of this situation is that Fanatics may improve the design of the Capitals' jersey, which was inherited from Reebok.
  8. Maybe they win it this season once MJ sells his stake in them. Also, many people say the 1985 NBA lottery was rigged. How else did the Knicks end up with Patrick Ewing?
  9. I expect the Nats to win almost the same number of games as last season (55) and finish last in the NL East again. I enjoy watching bad baseball teams while hoping for better seasons to come. Does anyone else feel that way when their team is bad?
  10. In CCL news, Haiti's Violette AC upsets Austin FC 3-2 in the Round of 16! Well done Violette AC!!
  11. One suggestion is to increase the League's size to 40 clubs, dividing them equally into two groups of 20 clubs each, and introduce a promotion and relegation system.
  12. Announcing yet another new playoff format 6 days before the season starts is a bush league move! It's MLS' modus operandi!!
  13. Wait until the summer and you'll find the MLS shorts at T.J. Maxx, Marshalls, etc. for half the price!
  14. DCU unveils Cherry Blossom kit
  15. This is MLS' latest attempt at the scudetto. I believe the badge was introduced after the 2020 Final between Columbus and Seattle. Columbus wore it on their kits in 2021, but I don't remember if NYCFC wore it in 2022. However, the badge pictured here looks smaller than the one on Columbus' kits.
  16. Their kit looks wonderful! The colors certainly pop.
  17. NGL, I immediately thought the Utah Stars were coming back to the WNBA.
  18. I am interested to see what happens with the next five editions of the CCL. If MLS wins four or all five of them, it would validate Seattle's role as the driving force behind MLS clubs taking the CCL seriously. However, I have concerns that Liga MX clubs will regain control of the CCL.
  19. The CCL win also snapped the Sounders record playoff appearance streak. Also, this article jinxed it, Seattle Sounders could face Real Madrid: 2022 FIFA Club World Cup draw results | MLSSoccer.com.
  20. All that effort for the Sounders to win the CONCACAF Champions League was completely wasted. I hope MLS has a better representative at the Club World Cup in 2025. More importantly, I'm surprised this hasn't been posted yet, Premier League charges Manchester City over alleged financial rule breaches | Manchester City | The Guardian.
  21. I like the Caps jersey, as long as it's a one-off. Adidas could have done so much worse with putting the Weagle on the jersey (See Nashville, Tampa Bay, and Colorado as prime examples).
  22. Vox also cut nearly all of their SBHockey blogs too, except for six. I've honestly forgotten that SBNation was a thing.
  23. Well that is a difference! Honestly though, Sacramento will inevitably land an expansion club in the coming decade given their U.S. Open Cup run this past year. They're also trying to figure out the finances for building a stadium. Plus, MLS loves giving second chances to their markets, e.g., San Jose Earthquakes 2.0, LAFC, NYCFC, and Inter Miami FC. I don't think Sacramento should receive a club again at this time.
