  1. Just using the Virginia Tech shades of orange and maroon would be enough to help the creamsicle look out.
  2. The last Swamp Dragon sighting here was in 2017, IIRC. The Swamp Dragon has largely moved to other social media to harass people, possibly take credit for his employees' work, and block those who criticize him.
  3. With who’s running the Pats’ ship right now? They’ll ruin whoever they get.
  4. Exactly. The defense got gassed and got stupid, because the offense could only do three-and-outs for most of the second half. Granted, two of the best players getting injured, but coaching around those issues should have been a priority. It's also a huge credit to the Browns' defense, who deserve a better offense. The trap game trapped them, and now it's on to Minnesota.
  5. It was bound to happen sooner or later, but at least it wasn't to a division opponent.
  6. When two of your best players are down in the first half, that tends to happen.
  7. Jimmy G was a mid-season trade for the Niners in October 2017. The team won out after putting him at starter in week 13. It wasn't enough to save the season at all, but it was a solid turnaround.
  8. I don’t mind. Bad takes happen all the time. At least I’m not making dumbass posts about teams I don’t like and trying to argue that certain teams making it is Actually Bad.
  9. Rangers-Phillies would be fun, unless you are Gabe Kapler.
  10. Skunk Baxter would never authorize a movie as disrespectful as Bohemian Rhapsody. I love that it's ok to dunk on that movie now, because it deserves it so much.
  11. Hot take: seeding should be done by run differential, not wins. Run differential is a better indicator of what teams are better than others. It’s also why I maintain that the 1987 Twins were the worst team to win a WS.
  12. Additionally: the Brewers were an NL Central team and the NL Central isn’t exactly an amazing division (correct me if I’m wrong). Also, the Dodgers haven’t been able to score runs/hit in the playoffs ever since 2021. It’s not the format’s fault, it’s the teams’ fault. The 2013-present Dodgers really are the ‘91-‘05 Braves reborn. Over a decade of making the playoffs and only one title (in a shortened season) to show for it.
  13. It's giving me some Slate Blue vibes, which I can dig. Pairing it with the regular red and a gold/copper color could produce a good look. They could also emulate a terrible Avs third design.
  14. That I could get behind. But as you said, it'd be a mess to implement and lead to some pretty serious long-term side effects throughout the sport. There's also the small part of the Red Sox doing the same thing in 2018, but they're not complained about because they started sucking after getting caught.
  15. What punishment would you have proposed? Stripping wins and titles is NCAA garbage (nobody buys it) and the forcible breakup of the team would be a massive area for players' union complaints (at a time where labor tensions were nearing their lockout peak). If your answer was to ban the players from the sport? You've got yourself a threat to the anti-trust exemption.
  16. It’s just a shame that the throwback won’t have relatively consistent stripe widths.
  17. Denver vs. Kansas City Baltimore vs. Tennessee Washington vs. Atlanta Minnesota vs. Chicago Seattle vs. Cincinnati San Francisco vs. Cleveland Carolina vs. Miami Indianapolis vs. Jacksonville New Orleans vs. Houston New England vs. Las Vegas Arizona vs. LA Rams Philadelphia vs. NY Jets Detroit vs. Tampa Bay NY Giants vs. Buffalo Dallas vs. LA Chargers
  18. Critical defensive injuries, stagnant offense, and the crippling realization that Bill needed Tom more than Tom needed Bill.
  19. I tried to make that '98-'06 set work in modernity. I maintain that the "db" is way better than the snake swallowing the ball.
  20. Other than a way to get RSS feeds to import into actual podcast apps and links to unlisted YouTube videos? No reason at all.
  21. Giants wrap-up: Gabe Kapler’s laizze-faire approach blew up in his face, a lot of guys got hurt, and Joc Pederson approached “least favorite player ever” status. At least Brandon Crawford went out a Giant.
  22.
