to be entirely honest, all of them feel like they'd have been overhauled by 2010 aside from Memphis. some teams may go back to their retro look later on (Jacksonville is the big one I see this happening with), but as for the rest, they could all use some touch-ups.

I don't have fond memories of these moments because I can only think about how they led to nothing. the only NY teams allowed to win titles are the ones I didn't pick. even the Tiger-Cats, the CFL team I only tangentially support, haven't won a Grey Cup since I was two years old - and this is a league where the average drought between titles is, what, five years? so, really, my only options are Melo-era Syracuse's national title I can only barely remember or Coastal's College World Series championship. we're resorting to college baseball here. it's that bad.

I don't want another spoiled sun belt team with a housebroken local/state government that the NHL lets do whatever the hell they want (hi Tampa, how ya doin Tampa). Quebec should be the first option by a long shot, but even without it, I'd say somewhere like SLC deserves an NHL team way more than the Stepford-ass urban-planning-but-only-for-cars hellscape that is Houston.

I get the feeling it'd look a lot better with a burgundy yoke on the away jersey; I get that it'd minimize the amount of grey on those unis, but I think it'd look a lot better with the white base. other than that, everything else about these is pretty top-notch.
