  1. cool Mets fact! in all but two of their playoff appearances, the Mets have gone at least as far as game 6 of the NLCS. but nine gorillion division championships, right
  2. speaking of NCAA punishments, a postseason ban honestly might've been the way to go - don't know if that just would've led to them tanking, though.
  3. every time someone says this or something akin to it I'm always reminded of that one person I saw who moved from NYC to Columbus, OH and went on a whole tangent or whatever about how New York was "too dangerous." I'm sure you don't need me to tell you this, but Columbus' crime rate is way higher than NYC's. now, if you wanna talk about dumps, we could absolutely talk about the soul-rending tract housing hellscapes 80% of the remaining teams call home
  4. jesus, no wonder this sport is dying.
  5. lmao wow I completely memory-holed top-10 Stanford being a thing at any point in 2018. wild.
  6. Denver vs. Kansas City Baltimore vs. Tennessee Washington vs. Atlanta Minnesota vs. Chicago Seattle vs. Cincinnati San Francisco vs. Cleveland Carolina vs. Miami Indianapolis vs. Jacksonville New Orleans vs. Houston New England vs. Las Vegas Arizona vs. LA Rams Philadelphia vs. NY Jets Detroit vs. Tampa Bay NY Giants vs. Buffalo Dallas vs. LA Chargers
  7. yeah, because if we're being honest, the jets should probably be 4-1 right now.
  8. gee, I wonder what all of those schools have in common location-wise
  9. yes. this is exactly what I want to happen. glad you agree calling up Delaware for this sort of thing is the right move, too - it really feels like the only thing holding them back from being an FBS school is them not really fitting into any conference's geographical footprint (aside from maybe the Sun Belt?). mostly I just want Syracuse to be in a conference with Rutgers and WVU again. and without anyone south of Virginia. actually, on that note, I think you could make a stretch case for putting VT in here in some way.

  11. pretty sure I've said this before, but I will reiterate on behalf of the 2023 Seattle Mariners: winning your division should not guarantee you a playoff spot. divisions should be for scheduling purposes and only scheduling purposes.
  12. the jets are 2-2 and taylor swift has never released anything better than a light 4.
  13. that they lost is of little importance, because the one true question all sickos ask must be posited: Is Washington Good?
  14. you know that "wet-dry world negative emotional aura" thing from the super mario 64 icebergs? it's kinda like that.
  15. oh, cool, literally every sunbelt team is in the playoffs. god, this season has sucked so hard.

  17. well, next week, undefeated Syracuse host 2-2 Clemson and I can't believe that is a factual statement I just typed. I already know this can only end one way, but Syracuse's prospects look pretty bright provided they can win even one of their next three games.
  18. @Silent Wind of Doom another year, another Carolina League championship for the Charleston RiverDogs. I'd also appreciate if you could use the HC monogram instead of just the C, but I understand if that'd be illegible or whatever.

  21. personally I think Rodgers was nothing more than a blood sacrifice to imbue the rest of the Jets with whatever terrifying powers he holds

  23. I genuinely hope the Angels franchise ends up being contracted and replaced by a new AL expansion team in the LA region. I legitimately think a not-insignificant percentage of baseball's decline can be traced straight back to them.
