    As for these, I like the “The Ville” on the front but otherwise these do nothing for me and go in the GFGS trash pile.

    The chrome helmets (probably my favorite chrome lids ever) did a lot of heavy lifting but I thought the Lamar Jackson set looked really nice.

    Vastly prefer the later version with the lighter gold, but this is a fun throwback.

    Going to be interesting to see how this affects ESPN’s B1G coverage going forward. Will GameDay still come if ESPN has no financial incentive to promote the conference at all?

    6-11 for the Yanks in the second half of the season. It’s getting really hard to not to hit the panic button over here. Only thing I can say is that a lot of these games have been winnable but the team just failed to make the one or two extra plays needed to close it out, but that’s only a relief if it flips back soon.

    It’s not a terrible look in and of itself. The cub logo is well-designed, but I don’t think it looks as good on the front as the Cubs circle logo would. I just think it’s a step down and doesn’t emit the same classic Chicago feeling the traditional home/roads do. Although if you have to have an alt to wear sparingly in the regular season, I can live with it. However, that uniform should be nowhere near the culmination of the greatest baseball story of my lifetime. I don’t know if we’ll see a baseball game with that high of stakes ever again, and the heroes didn’t quite look like themselves for it, which is shameful. Also, their opponent was in Navy blue, creating an AWFUL color clash. Not to mention that one logo being plastered all over everything which already looks horrendous in hindsight. A truly classic game in every sense but the uniform department.

    I know the Jaguars are as forgettable a franchise as they come but it’s baffling to me that those uniforms are five years old already. I have no memories of them besides Minshew Mania and that one Cowboys game they wore black over teal and it looked gorgeous.

    I mean what the Cubs have now is kinda bland but at least it’s not actively bad like the Cuba digs. I don’t see what there is to strongly dislike about the current roads.

    Baseball, no. Since not every team’s colors work for colored jerseys, white at home is a perfect compromise that I love and think no team should wear anything other than white at home. Basketball, I admit it’s always bothered me, but I’m used to it so it doesn’t ruin the game in the same way. One thing I like about the Nike NBA infiltration is that we’re seeing colored jerseys at home more often. I wish they were the primaries instead of the often superfluous city jerseys, but still. I will admit I prefer lighter colors at home like the Lakers so the home team is easier to identify, but even if that doesn’t work for your color scheme I still prefer colors at home. Hockey switching to colored jerseys at home rocked. And yes getting enraged over meaningless details is kinda the point of this forum lol. NFL games do become decently less enjoyable for me if the home team is wearing white. Even if it’s a good game, it’s gonna be constantly bugging me in the back of my mind throughout, thus leading to the enragement. It’s such an easy fix, and would benefit my enjoyment greatly, so every team should just do it regardless of what they want.

    White at home for any team that’s not facing the Cowboys enrages me and is inexcusable regardless of your location. Show off your colors and have some damn pride in your team.

    I loved that Jags/Bills game. That was the pinnacle of antifootball.

    I’ve got UVA ahead of VT, FSU, NC State and Clemson since they only wear orange pants for the last few weeks. I love the double stripe motif they’ve got working.

    They just jumped from bottom 3 in the ACC to top 3 like THAT. Overjoyed with the news. With Nevada jumping off the asymmetrical trend as well, I don’t wanna get my hopes up but I feel the tides might be changing.

    Even I, the eternal Yankee optimist, thought a move like this was necessary/imminent after 3-7 in the last 10. Even though he’s a no-vaxxer who can’t play in Toronto. Wonder if anything else is down the pipe.
