    I’m just so used to MACtion being the Ohio/Michigan schools and ol’ Buffalo that adding new teams into the mix wouldn’t feel right. Ticky-tack I know, but I love the MAC as constructed for making my weeknights better for years, and Akron/MTSU wouldn’t slap the way Akron/Ball State does. I know it’d be a smart move for the conference and it’s only two new things but nostalgia’s a hell of a drug.

    The numbers all look bad, but Dewayne Dedmon’s non-Italic 2 and Italic 1 looks especially horrible.

    LOVE the Houston jerseys. Always had a soft spot for the 90’s Rockets set, and those are pretty much the exact tweaks needed to make that guilty pleasure a legitimately dope uniform. New Orleans is the honorable mention. No complaints from me if that’s the base for a new primary uniform set. My least favorite is honestly Orlando. I know teams having new color schemes for the city edition is nothing out of the ordinary but orange just does not work for the Magic at all. That set wit proper Magic colors would be fantastic however. Miami’s off-colored numbers though are the dishonorable mention. Can’t imagine those will be easy to read live.

    Maybe it’s just my Gen-Zness speaking, but the Katy Perry one kicked a lot of ass, same with Bruno Mars’ first one. Though Snoop/Dre/Kendrick etc. has potential to top all of that as it’s easily the coolest show the league has put together, as I can confirm that “Still D.R.E.” and “The Next Episode” are still very popular with the youth.

    Here’s who I’d like to see the AAC add if they don’t raid the Mountain West UAB Charlotte James Madison Rice All these schools fit the “vibe” of the conference the most in my opinon.

    Iowa State’s been a consistent Top 25 football team the past few seasons. They’re leagues above being “as bad as Kansas”

    Ugh I hate this so much. I loved how regional the sport was and how every major conference had it’s own personality. It feels like the sport is currently trending to a European Super League 2.0 structure. I could easily see conferences wanting to kick out middling members and replace them with moneymaking powers until we’re left with 2/3 megaconferences with all the smaller schools being basically the new FCS.

    That’s how I feel about it too, it’s inoffensive to a fault, but it’s clean enough that it didn’t distract from three straight finals runs including the iconic 2016 one. That’s why I don’t think it should have ever been changed, because those uniforms are Cleveland Cavaliers basketball to me.

    There were rumors last year of an away version being made so that the team can wear the Blackshirt jerseys after any game where the defense holds the offense to under X amount of points. I like the idea as long as they actually stick to it and don’t just throw them on after a bye week again after seeing that the defense probably won’t hold up their end of the bargain. That was a pretty bad look (but the uniforms were sweet!).

    You’d think with Mahomes being as popular as he is they’d want to stick with those uniforms longer. Anyways, I like the Texas flag homage in the stripes.

    I think the white jersey could use some more orange, I think it'd look pretty good with the orange and blue swapped.

    Yeah missing the World Cup is sad and all for an American soccer fan, but the part that really stings is THAT THIS WAS SUCH A GOOD KIT.
