Same feeling. I thought black was fine for a while, but seeing them use blue instead has kind of altered my perception. Compared to the blue, black made it too muddied and made it seem that it was the second color of the scheme over blue. They look better without the black, but the blue still feels weird to me so it might take a good while for me to adjust... but I'm pretty confident I will.

Milwaukee has lost around nine of their last ten. I was hopefully they would be the one team in the poor NL Central to keep the Cards from first, but it might end up being too close throughout the season.

Washington Commanders to debut new NFL identity
Dynasty replied to DCarp1231's topic in Sports Logo News
Forgot about @TruColor. There are several different websites that list the team's associated colors and of course, they are all slightly different. Maroon/Burgundy is such a hard color to distinguish, though looking online, I don't see a difference in both of Washington's previous and current jerseys. -
Washington Commanders to debut new NFL identity
Dynasty replied to DCarp1231's topic in Sports Logo News
Something I just noticed about is the colors for Washington via Pantone. From what it looks like, they changed the shade of the burgundy to more of a maroon color. https://teamcolorcodes.com/washington-(Commanders)-color-codes/ Was this announced at any point during the unveiling process because I must've missed it. I also haven't seen the new and old uniforms side-by-side, so I don't know how different they are to one another. -
I knew they were gonna change even before the rumors or leaks; THIS is the Cavaliers. Like almost half the league, they don't want a consistent identity and apparently they are fine with that. They just want to make money with an every-now-and-then "fresh" look and when it gets stale, they spin the wheel. They'll probably either change the shade of colors again or add a new one in about 4-5 years.

What does mythology have to do with Nebraska? The design could be better, though looking through their license's plate history, I'd have to agree that it's not the worst.
-
It did come off as a little arrogant on Lacob's behalf (and no one likes hearing arrogance), but I don't think that was on the level of disdain which revolved around Durant's decision.
-
Hopefully they'll decide on if they need their third color or not. You can't have either navy or black and choose to not include it in the main uniforms.

The fact they are only a few games back behind PIT and CHC shows how bad those teams are.

Miami isn't winning the series, even if they win Game 6. I give the Celtics credit where its due with their defense, but the Heat team itself has also been a no-show for a majority of the series, injuries or not. I hate to say it, but their peak was the 2020 Finals. Honestly, the Bucks are better than this team.

I'm not trying to be ignorant, but is there anything else you could really do with Denver/Colorado besides mountains and the state flag? That's all I ever hear about when that area is mentioned.

Boston's defense pisses me off.

Golden State is ABSOLUTELY winning the title. Like someone mentioned earlier, it was a little easy to write them off because they were down for a few years with significant injuries. They're back though, so for me, it's really just a "nothing to see here" moment. And even though they've only gone against one-man teams so far, that's not their fault.

That's what I want to see. They've already met twice, it could potentially be one of those little championship rivalries you see (not BOS-LAL level but at their own level).

Is there a reason as to why their mascot is a wolf? A Rambler is someone out in country, is it not?

The Rite of Spring: 2022 Stanley Cup Playoffs Thread

Usually they're on the other end, in football as well. -
Lol Suns are never winning an NBA title. Arizona sports just sucks ass.

It doesn't really help that Milwaukee also doesn't have their second best player playing. But excuses aside, a Game 7 was definitely not out of the line for this series. It wouldn't surprise me if either team advances as I think they are fairly matched. I'm not overlooking the Heat though; they're a number one seed for a reason.

Boy, it would be a shame if we had a Sunbelt team in the Cup again. -

Rangers have no defense; giving up so many goals this series. -
I'm just trying to find an excuse, because I have no idea. I expected the Suns to be better than this.
-
I'm assuming they're doing what the Warriors did and are just saving up their strength to close the series at home... (?)

Team logos that are "forever done"
Dynasty replied to sitboaf's topic in Sports Logo General Discussion
I have to agree with this. Their identity is a modern classic... and being a consistent playoff contender for over half their existence has help their brand recognition. The only thing I would or could see them do is update the uniform template (moving away from the wishbone collar like the Lakers did).
