  1. This is all just setting up for when Michigan gets owned by Georgia again, National Championship edition.
  2. That's how every ASU-ARIZ matchup should look. They were at their best aesthetically.
  3. Just pointing out that it's Rams-Chiefs and Saints-49ers. Carry on.
  4. I think they look fine. The way they're using navy and red somewhat separates them from other navy and red teams (especially a team in their own division). You could say these are too plain, but I'd like to say they are more clean if anything. I'm also glad they got rid of that peanut butter gold. That was never going to work the way they were using it.
  5. I was counting the Bucs out early. I forgot what division they play in.
  6. It's incredible seeing who was on their roster in 2019 and just looking at it now. It makes me glad they managed to actually go on that run a few years ago.
  7. The Colts are a pretty crooked franchise, stemming down to their addict of an owner. I've never been able to get behind them for anything because of all the stuff they've pulled in the past. From the "AFC Finalist" banners, failing to protect Andrew Luck in his career, and to not even considering other staff on their team who have a better coaching resume than a player-turned-commentator. It's just shameful.
  8. They've used both a shield and a roundel before so there's some historic significance for the two (the right logo is nearly identical to one they used in the past). I like the shield, but the roundel looks a little better on merch. Let's see what their fans want.
  9. I met Dusty in person before a Reds-Brewers game in Milwaukee back in 2012. He was apparently buddies with my grandfather, who also worked in the baseball world. The dude honestly came off to me as a very genuine guy and it was really cool to meet him. I know Dusty has gotten a lot of hate for how he's managed in his career, but I have to say I'm very happy for him. I actually don't know if I've ever rooted that hard for anyone in sports, at any point, period. So congrats, dude.
  10. Nick Saban is out of the playoff picture and Clemson finally gets exposed. A good day.
  11. So they're adding blue to "match" with the other teams in the city? I'm not against it, but Charlotte can't really pull off a Pittsburgh when their basketball team uses their iconic teal and purple.
  12. I think that "devil magic" may be wearing off.
  13. Browns continuing to own Burrow in his career. Still a needed win for Cleveland.
  14. Houston can't catch a break with these "teams of destiny," can they? In 2019, last year in 2021, and now. One thing can be said, Philadelphia has a chance to own Houston in both baseball and football within the week.
  15. Can Pat McAfee and A.J. Hawk please stop giving this guy the publicity to say these things? Nobody wants to hear that diva complain.
  16. McDaniel wasn't at his best tonight. Not going for the field goal would have been the defining moment had they not won (I thought the decision itself was fine, but using a small guy like Edmonds up the middle was dumb). Tua also made some risky plays that would've been disastrous, with the head-lowering dive against the defender for the first down (which he didn't even get) and that fact that he could've had four interceptions if it weren't for the Steelers' defenders dropping them. Neither team scored in the second half, with both defenses looking great. I'm proud of our secondary, given that several starters were out. I'm especially proud of Noah Igbinoghene because for most of the game, he was getting outplayed, but that final interception was a big statement.
  17. Celebrating the 50th anniversary of the 1972 team, Tua coming back from his concussion, and getting the Dolphins' first Sunday Night Football win ever... against the Steelers of all teams. For this Dolphins fan, it was one of the best nights I've ever had in my fandom.
  18. Yeah, they lost three series to Boston starting from 2004, so within a pretty wide stretch. They've lost to Houston in three (or maybe soon-to-be four) series within a shorter stretch of seven years. I'm focusing more on just the recent number of years rather than beyond a whole decade. New York and Boston have met each other back to back for a century, they play in the same division, they see each other more often, so there is bound to be moments where one gets the upper hand on the other. These are the Astros. Before 2017, they were one of the bottom tier franchises and again, I find it amusing that the Yankees are struggling against a non-division opponent that doesn't have all the pizazz like the bigger franchises do historically.
  19. The fact that Houston has owned New York in the past several years is bizarre, and honestly hilarious. It amazes me that a franchise like the Yankees, as lustrous as they are or have been historically, are actually on the bad end of a rivalry. It's usually the other way around.
  20. Clemson is looking pretty overrated. They remind me of 2014 Florida State and how they squeaked by through the soft ACC for weeks until they got to the first playoffs, getting steamrolled by Oregon. If they get in this year, I'm not seeing a win for them.
  21. Why is Texas such a heavy favorite over an OKST team who is ranked higher and is playing in Stillwater?
  22. I thought he left SF because of his health? Then again if it were the case, it shouldn't surprise me if guys like Francona and Showalter haven't called it quits yet.
