  1. Children's Mercy Park makes more sense than CPKC. You want your stadium to be slightly larger than expected crowds instead of limiting growth. I haven't heard of anyone considering Kansas City, however. Other than building up the sides, expansion is pretty limited here. It's still got more space to work with than the Pittsburgh Riverhounds' stadium does. I still don't know why people get excited about the idea of playing in a stadium that seats under 6,000.
  2. For this jersey, which looks great by the way, I wonder if copying the new Nike logo setup for the Canada jerseys might work.
  3. Yes, this and the Broncos combos have been posted to Twitter.
  4. And is looking to make ESPN a de facto second NFL Network, or primary replacement.
  5. The NFL has given Labor Day weekend to college football now. I don't think they'd move back up, but what I can also see the players say is to completely get rid of the Pro Bowl week if they want that 18 game schedule.
  6. I think next year would be the best time to try it. With three red jersey teams, having the Panthers wear a sky blue jersey when playing the Stallions or Defenders would be a great move. Actually, having the Defenders go back to a red helmet would be a good move as well. Apparently ESPN's helmet matchup yesterday still used the red helmet from 2020. I should have taken a screen cap. Arlington could easily work in a black jersey. Just use the 2020 jersey and you're good to go. Maybe make the shoulders black instead of light blue though.
  7. I like them. I would probably still change up the pant stripes colors on the blue pants, but they are all using the same pattern which I guess is good. Until I saw a game last year, I hadn't realized that West Virginia had changed their uniforms in 2021. I still though they had the uniforms with contrasting sleeves. I also wonder if we'll see a fourth uniform at some point in the year as well?
  8. I'd love too see the NAL try and force this through. I don't think they can. Didn't a law just get passed in regards to NDA's and non-competes in the entertainment arena?
  9. I think they would need to do a lot of work with the Coliseum. Not as much as what the Raiders wanted, but there has to be some upkeep done to make it worth the city's, and the UFL's time. With three teams sharing the stadium over spring and summer, Snapdragon is likely not going to want to have a fourth tenant at the same time (Wave, SDFC, San Diego rugby). I think San Diego could be a second version of the Battlehawks in terms of ticked off NFL fans that want a team to root for, but they need another venue instead of Snapdragon. This version of the Roughnecks are also not the 2023 version. That team is playing to the west of them in San Antonio. Also, the Texans finally got out of the doldrums and are looking to be a legitimate AFC challenger for the Super Bowl. That, as well as not playing in their previous home stadium, is hurting the Roughnecks this year. Like @McCallpointed out, any expansion teams that come out need to be paired up at least in pairs of two, as a way to get the fans of both teams excited about the upcoming seasons.
  10. Something like what was used for the draft might work.
  11. If we're giving things back because the rules have changed, can Jim Tressel get his wins back too? His kids sold their own stuff for tattoos and got hammered.
  12. People will forget it exists this year, let alone if it's taken off next year.

  16. And those people who can't afford to go to NFL games might want to catch the UFL and enjoy pro football that's still creating it's own fan experience.
  17. The Panthers were able to get a booth near the NFL Draft, if not inside the main area itself, so at least this should help get some fans interested in the two remaining games they have. Hopefully they get at least 10,000 but I think that depends just as much as how they do before then as it does their marketing pitches at the booths.
  18. The weight isn't that much more. In fact, adding too much weight actually increases the chances of injury so that's taken into consideration when these are used.
  19. There's also a skull cap that people can wear under a regular hat that doesn't look so outlandish as this one does.
  20. I think the one thing the league knew coming in was that they need to show the desire to stay in place. The XFL wasn't expecting to make profit for 5 years from 2023. The TV numbers have remained steady, which is something that hadn't happened with either league last year. https://bleacherreport.com/articles/10078873-the-rock-talks-xfl-after-leagues-reported-60m-loss-in-2023-this-is-the-long-game Having very competitive games helps keep people glued to the channel, and except for maybe four games so far they've all been close right up until the last two minutes.
  21. Yup, I was thinking of the SAFR caps. Is this allowed in the NFL yet?
  22. I think Cleveland would be better off grabbing Justin Fields if they are moving away from Watson. Pittsburgh apparently only want him and Russ for this season. We're already dealing with one diva at quarterback this season, we don't need one who's father is the diva. https://giphy.com/explore/throwing-water
  23. Mark Kelso would appreciate this. I have to say it's been weird to see UFL players practice with them, but not having them in the same colors as the team, but I'd expect that won't be an issue for NFL players that want to wear them in games.
  24. I don't think the injury bug is worse this year than normal, but you also have idiots that are trying to say that if they kept the old XFL kickoff players wouldn't be on the injured list. Those injuries would have occurred regardless of the style of kickoff, because those players weren't tackling properly.
  25. And say that whomever has the first pick can't draft him because Dion doesn't like their third string LT.
