I'd use a different number font, and also have the away numbers be white. I also see you used the same shade of red they currently have, i really really dislike that shade of red. Also think the purple works better as the primary road and the home whites would perhaps look better with purple numbers and lettering as well, but I appreciate that you've gone against the grain with that scheme as it sort of straddles both the new and old.
