MLB (i.e., the AL and NL) has had three players named Aurelio in its history.  All three died in car crashes.

All those stats that Michael Jordan racked up in his DPOY season -- Take 'em with a grain of salt. Well, not all of them, but certainly the ones from his home games.  As someone who works the stats table for a D-1 team, it's interesting how this gets checked today. Some of these things couldn't happen, because turnovers/steals have to balance.

Half of all players in MLB history named Vinny have played for the Brewers (Rottino and Capra).

 

Half of all players in MLB history are active now (Capra and Nittoli).

 

The most famous Vinny is none of these three.

On May 16, 2004, the Atlanta Braves struck out 18 times against Ben Sheets in Milwaukee. In their next game, on May 18, Randy Johnson threw a Perfect Game at them for Arizona in Atlanta.

In 2010, the Bears claimed their 700th win. The Packers won the Super Bowl.

In 2024, if the Bears win 7 games, the Bears will claim their 800th win.
