It's April Fool's Day again, and for sports fans, one of the frequent targets of pranks is logos and uniforms since they are held so near and dear to people's hearts. The rundown of logo/uniform related pranks so far includes:

• The Chicago Bears announced on Twitter that, in honour of the NFL's 100th season, they would be wearing triple-digit jersey numbers this season, adding a 1 to everyone's regular number:

• A Saskatchewan Roughriders blog/podcast claimed to have an exclusive look at the new Riders jerseys made by New Era, which were along the same lines as what the Montreal Alouettes unveiled earlier this year: http://pifflespodcast.com/blog/exclusive-new-era-rider-jerseys-leaked

Please add any others you find that set off your B.S. Meter throughout the day.

A few more from across the pond:

• Bristol City FC unveiled an all-blue away kit for the 2019-2020 season, purportedly to celebrate the 110th anniversary of their only appearance in the FA Cup final. However, this would mean they were wearing the same colour as their crosstown rivals, Bristol Rovers:

• Watford FC blended prank and reality: the club unveiled a new home kit for 2019-2020 with a "striking lattice pattern" before calling April Fool's and then confirming they'd actually be going with a half-and-half design for the upcoming season: https://www.watfordfc.com/teams/first-team/club-statement-re-leaked-imagery-201920-watford-home-shirt

• Fulham FC announced they would become the first Premier League side to adopt double-digit numbers on every shirt, adding zeroes to players who were already wearing single-digit numbers:

Don't let Chivas see those jerseys!

This one's in German, but some kind folks on Twitter have translated parts of it. Fortuna Dusseldorf is traditionally a red-and-white team, so they blended them together to get a pink kit. Plus the crest shape was changed from a circle to a diamond, the main sponsor logo was changed to Comic Sans, an additional sponsor was added to the back, and the names are in Mandarin:

Another one from the mothership: The University of Florida tweeted out a video of a football uniform based on the regalia the school president wears during graduation ceremonies. It's not terrible! http://news.sportslogos.net/2019/04/01/florida-gators-tout-academics-with-april-fools-day-uniforms/

I'd take this rather than the gator scale uniform they had. Even if this is intended as an April Fool's prank, this isn't that bad for a one-off uniform.

Little late, but I just noticed this article naming @GMac as the prankster.
