spyboy1 Posted September 14, 2004 Share Posted September 14, 2004 When and if the NHL season gets underway, the following teams are having anniversaries of sorts.Buffalo Sabres - 35th anniversaryVancouver Canucks - 35th anniversaryCalgary Flames - 25th season in CalgaryColorado Avalance - 10th season in ColoradoMinnesota Wild - 5th anniversaryColumbus Blue Jackets - 5th anniversaryThe challenge is to take one or more of those teams and design a patch to be worn on the team's jerseys this season. One small rule - YOU MUST USE THE EXISTING LOGOS AND COLORS.This is not a challenge to design yet another new logo for the Canucks! gordie_delini Posted September 14, 2004 Share Posted September 14, 2004 just for everyone's information, the NHL places anniversary patches on the upper right chest on the jersey - across from where pcgd has placed it. if there aren't any shoulder patches, then the anniversary patch is usually placed on the right shoulder of the jersey, if not on the right chest. i have not seen an anniversary patch on the left side ever, but correct me if i'm wrong.if no one else takes it, i'll do the minnesota wild anniversary Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
