The Lakers and Kings agree that there's too much purple! You can tell because they NEVER WEAR THEIR ACTUAL FREAKING UNIFORMS

I hear you on purple overuse in the NBA, and if anyone should jettison the color, it's the Bucks.

I don't think purple is feminine. Pink is, though. Purple is just overused in basketball. I don't think there's anyone wearing just royal blue and white in the NBA. Pistons and Clippers have a lot of red in the scheme, Nuggets are powder blue, Jazzlieavericks are darker and lighter than plain old blue, and may have yellow or silver.

I also believe that the original Charlotte Hornet uniforms were the only b-ball uni's to feature pleated shorts.

makes you ask, why

'Cause Alexander Julian thought he was being cute with the Teal and Purple, accent pinstriping of Blue, Light Blue and Light Green, and pleats in the shorts.

He should never be allowed to design another sports uniform.

WTF is a pleat, exactly?

They are the opposite of a flat-front pant. Go to a store and look at pleated dress slacks, or go to the Gap and look at pleated khakis. Pleats are those folded over creases found on the upper thigh of pants.
